Skydive spectator

Daughters enjoyed the experience. I just watched. There is a spectator area that was just fine. Video is fun to watch over and over.

I was thinking of skydiving since I was a kid. But always got scared thinking of it. I finally decided to do it and skydive santa barbara could not be more perfect. I and my girlfriend decided to go for 13k tandem and motivate each other that we can do it. We finally gathered our guts and got ourselves expert... More

Tandem skydives from 13,000 feet. You are paired with a highly experienced jump instructor, strapped to their chest, and just go along for the ride of your lifetime. Jumps cost aroud $200 (less if you go as a group), and add around another $100 for video and still pix taken by your instructor. You cannot shoot your own pix (nor... More

Kind of late to write a review, but hey better 5 years late then never. My first tandem skydive ever and I booked the 18,000 ft. My instructor was Victor, he is a really nice guy that has an answer for everything. Everything went smooth, from booking the jump to the day itself and the weather. I really recommend Skydive... This was our second jump. Other time in Massachusetts. We stood around waiting for somebody to talk to when we arrived and then sat down to watch a video. We had to wait for a while before we actually were called to jump. The plane ride was quick and the jump great.

Three friends and myself went here to jump for our first times. We had an excellent time our guides, Mark, Mike, Paul and Brendan were great. They made the experience memorable and we're all professional but they also knew how to have a good time. I definitely recommend this place.

We went ar the end of November which we knew could be problematic because if there's clouds you can't jump. We were also travelling through (we are from the UK) so we would lose a deposit as we wouldn't be able to return the next day etc. But we email on a few occasions and they were quick to respond... I did my jump with a yoga group, and hadn't felt scared until we watched the video were our potential "death" was clearly outlined. Pushing back the fear, I forged ahead. There was about a 45 minute wait before our group jumped - time we spent using the bathroom and chatting with other jumpers. My tandem pro, I believe his... More

I went on my first jump a couple years back here at skydive Santa Barbara with a friend and thought if this wasn't going to help me overcome my fear of heights, I don't know what will... I had second thoughts when it was my turn, but the pros that I jumped tandem with were really comforting and reassuring of... More

Very competent, relaxed, and enthusiastic staff that made the whole experience feel as safe as such a thing could feel. They seem to enjoy what they do, and enjoy doing it very well. Beautiful views, we did the 18,000 ft drop and I recommend this if you can spring for it, even for a first timer. Would go again if... More
