I lived next to this beach for 6 years, and thus here many times per week. From the entrance east is dog friendly. As with all beaches in SB, bring the baby oil to get the tar off your feet at the end of the day. Surfers are here most days.

Lovely beach! There is not enough parking to service both the restaurant and the beach goers. We waited a while at 2 pm and finally got a park. The restaurant (Boathouse) is delicious. We walked a long time barefoot on the beach and didn't step on any tar or even see any.
