Great place for an easy hike. Gorgeous views of the Crystal Springs reservoir and watershed area. It can get busy especially weekends. But after about a half mike it thins out.

Views of lake from the entire trail. Wildflowers are out (late March - Early April), including Indian Warrior and Douglas Iris. Stay on the wide paved trail and avoid the abundant poison oak. Keep right!!!

Best place to walk, jog or ride bikes (slowly 15mph limit). No cars to worry about except the parking near the trailhead gets crowded. There are bathroom facilities available and some water. Great views of Crystal Springs Reservoir and the dam.

There is cell service. Even though the trail seems rural and remote, it is actually not that far from civilization. Just feels that way
