My best girl friends and I were looking for a new location to enjoy a weekend away of relaxation. We stayed in Pismo Beach and wanted to go Wine Tasting. We're from the Napa area so have experienced many wineries and wanted to try this in a new area. Many of the reviews were negative, but we did NOT have that experience. We were greeted at the front with a big smile and happy face. We were 10 minutes early, but the gentlemen explained it would be just a minute and shared the current COVID restrictions in place. We were taken to their patio (no indoor tastings) and it was so beautiful - green grassy area and offered shade and sun. Alex was our server and was very kind. He expressed he was SO happy they were open again and he could go back to his "normal" job! You could see his joy. The wines were delicious and super reasonably priced. We did get the Charcuterie/Cheese plate and unfortunately we didn't eat half of it. I'm not sure if the quality has changed since COVID, but it looked old (meat discolored, olives and almonds mushy). I'm not one to join wine clubs, but had this been closer to home I would have (so I could enjoy more of the perks). Also, in their gift shop they had a ton of options and nice offerings. While we visited other wineries, we did not receive the same hospitality and quality. We will definitely visit this winery when we return for our next trip!

Not a nice place to visit. Nice building with good views but the staff is unwelcoming, arrogant and perhaps ignorant. I had a reservation for wine tasting and was refused service upon arrival since my 17 year old daughter was with me. We've been to wineries all over the country, in particular California and many in the San Luis Obispo area and this is a FIRST. In fact, we left Edna and drove to another winery and enjoyed a tasting, with my daughter, and a very pleasant experience. I should have left Edna straight away but there is a wine I like very much that isn't sold in stores so I went ahead and purchased several bottles. At that point, the refused to accept an American Express issued Gift/Travelers check due to "uncertain times". What, do they think Am Ex is going out of business? They set the standard for these long before credit cards were even in widespread use. Again, 2 hours later I was used the check at another SLO business. There are lots of good wineries that actually like visitors/customers in the SLO/Paso Robles area. Choose anyone other than Edna Valley.

Joe, We are sorry to hear you had a sub-par experience and appreciate you taking the time to bring the incident to our attention. Nice wine tasting. Informative and relaxing. Interior space had clean lines and rustic appeal. Great outdoor area for warmer weather.

On our way home from a wedding, we decided to stop at one winery for a tasting. After zeroing in on a few, we decided on this gem, Edna Valley Vineyards. We were greeted by a very pleasant young man, Kobe. He briefed us on the winery, it’s history and our tasting options where we elected the cheese pairing with several wines. All of the wines were paired perfectly, so much so we purchased a few bottles of wine and the accompaniment of cheeses we sampled. The winery is absolutely beautiful and extremely clean. Our experience was so satisfying and the wines we tasted were so good, we elected to join their wine club. Our decision was easy, thanks to the hospitality given to us by Kobe and the exceptional wines we tasted. Hats off to Edna Valley.

Beautiful facility and lovely wines. Not terrifically expensive, but some were unique and the atmosphere was worth visiting twice. Kersten made all the difference in our visit. Talking to her, and even though she has only been with them under 3 months, she really seemed to know her stuff. Thank you for a really great experience.
