For years we would not think of being in the area without stopping at Avila Valley Barn. Our granddaughter always loves feeding and petting the goats and other farm animals. We also enjoy the fresh fruit and vegetables. We have also enjoyed the U-Pick berries.

The fresh fruits and vegetables are great and a huge selection. It was fun seeing the animals as well. The upkeep is top notch, and the ice cream shop was fabulous!

Fresh fruit, fresh baked pies and other baked goods, fresh ice cream, doesn't get any better in this small town. During summer months, they have a little petting zoo area for the kids and you can take a ride on the hay cart to pick...More

This is a great place to bring your young children - they can feed the animals, take a ride on a hay wagon, have a picnic, get a fantastic ice cream cone - just have a wonderful family outing!

Fun place to visit on the way up/down the coast. Goats, chickens, miniature ponies, a cow, etcetera. Fruit and vegetables are pricey as is everything else but it's a tourist trap. Still worth checking out. Kids love it!

I guess this place would have a certain charm to 'city dwellers' with (very small) children - (we took our grandchild) - but the conditions the animals endure borders on cruelty - the grounds can get muddy, parking can be very difficult on a busy...More

My family visited from Texas and really enjoyed visiting this farm! My daughter loved feeding and petting all the goats. The market and gift shop were nice. The ice cream was delicious! Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

There really was nothing here. The deli is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday so there was no food. They had ice cream, but no chocolate ice cream so my kids passed on that. The corn was not in season so there was no corn on...More
