Enrollment is not a requirement to eat a Chick-fil-A in San Luis Obispo. If you are not a student of Cal Poly it is all about getting there, which is often an experience within itself. Many locals of San Luis Obispo don't know that this location exists. As a local, it is worth parking off campus and walking in and... More

Went to Chumash Hall, many department buildings, the Campus Store. Bought some jams and honey that were produced by students on campus. Thinking of ordering some cheese as Christmas gifts. Many changes, but the heart of the faculty and students remain the same.

Great walkable campus with easy walking throughout. A top California school in an idealistic environment.

My wife and I went to school here. If you are in to horticulture, you need to go up the hill and visit the OH Unit. From there go to Leaning Pine Arboretum and take in the sites and vistas! Nice tree arboretum!

Attended a seminar at the agriculture college. Parking was easily available - Friday afternoon. Campus is good looking, though pretty typical looking for a state university.

Where else can one expect to find a school producing and selling their own wine, cheese and chocolate!

Enjoyed our college tour of this wonderful university. It's a beautiful campus where the kids seem to be challenged yet very happy. I like their motto of learning by doing. Like the UC's, the tour doesn't take you inside buildings since there is so much to cover in almost 2 hours. We drove from Goleta and it was a really... More

Not too much unique to see in a tour, but still enjoyable to drive around the campus and see the facilities and views during the quiet summer period. Dormitory "communities" on the hillsides have great valley views.
