Love the farmers’ market in SLO. It’s a street party every week! Be sure to check it out if you’re in the area.

The food market was a short walk from where we’re staying and it proved invaluable when we were exhausted after a long day or touring, we could pop here for some food, shopping, restaurants or the cinema. We spent many an evening here and loved it. The food wasn’t cheap like street food should be but you can get whatever you desire. We did a great tasting in the olive oil shop and the peanut butter stall was amazing. I’d highly recommend a visit to this place if you are staying close to it. The cheese toastie from the cheese market was A-MAZ-ING but at $10 for a sandwich again not cheap, but no food was in the area.

No close parking for disabled & way too crowded for wheelchair bound people. Unfriendly able bodied people when asked politely to make some room to navigate crowd. On the plus side lots of variatious things to purchase.

Great food at the market, we drove from San Francisco to San Louis Knowing we would be there on Thursday evening. We didn’t know what to expect, we stayed just down the road and walk in. We had the best Beef ribs I’ve had in the USA. And we had been to Texas just before. It was cheap too. Really nice Strawberries as well. I would recommend staying there over night, on a Thursday night.
