Looks very entertaining & a fun place to take the family. Nice place to cool off with the kids & all ages. They even have some oversized chairs to sit in & also some picnic tables.

What a lovely park! They had an installation of musical swings that were fun for young and old. So many fun activities to do and lots of kids enjoying the fountain on a sunny day.

I attended the Major League Soccer All Star Game in July. MLS had family friendly events at the Plaza de Cesar Chavez Park all week. Monday evening they hosted the Flo Rider concert which seemed to be enjoyed by all.

Just passed through Downtown and a live musical event was underway in the park. Very happy place. The fountains are a great place to let children cool off - as long as you don't mind wet children. A "different" Downtown experience.

This spot has been upgraded. We've been visiting for 20 years and love the new set up. There are park tables and Adirondack chairs on sand. The kids can play in the water while the adults talk or read or whatever. What a wonderful picnic spot. Be sure to look up Music in the park during the summer months

It's downtown so it's got the homeless around sitting on benches near the splash pad / fountains. I took my four young children and felt uneasy walking around there. I let them play in the water for a bit. Other children were playing too although I felt uncomfortable with the people there.

this is a nice small park in the middle of the San Jose. Small but with a nice little rose garden and interesting fountain that attracts children as well as their pets. Water flows out of the floor in tall gushes that folks run thru. Nice place to hang out for awhile.

This is a lovely mid-city park. I visited in late Spring, when there were colourful Adirondack chairs and an occasional fountain, which always seemed to be full of happy, squealing children. I understand that in Winter, they turn it into an outdoor ice rink. A nice place to walk in the middle of the day, close to the convention centre,... More
