San José has not so much to offer to be honest, and I found this market really pretty and familiar to have a quick lunch or a cocktail. I would come back if again in San Jose!

This market is a feast for the senses! I spent a couple of hours wandering around, eyes bulging out of my head! There is so much to see and buy. I first went to the produce section, loaded up on fresh fruit, then I went...More

It's just a nice place to hang out with some friends. Can be a bit on the noisy side, but I guess that's what some folks go for. There's a dozen or so different places to eat, some sort of vainglorious hipster barber shop and...More

My hubby and I stumbled upon this place! We drank cocktails at the bar. Fun atmosphere! Lots of different food choices. Great place for people wanting different foods.

Went 3 times over a fortnight... tacos, pizza and Vietnamese ...all excellent! Love the fact that a group of friends can go to the same venue and each eat what 5hey want, even if that s completely different from each other!

I love this place since there's multiple options to choose where you want to eat, and they're all pretty good! This concept comes in handy if you can't exactly agree on where/what to eat with whomever you dine with. The only negative is that it...More

We were hoping to wander a market, so a bit disappointed to find this is a shared setting for many restaurants. We did have lunch, which was tasty though pricey. Fun vibe.

There are two buildings with places to eat in both areas along with a few bars. The choices are good and everyone should be able to find something they like. There is plenty of seating both inside and outdoors.

The Market is about a 15-20 minute drive from the San Jose Airport depending on traffic and when you go. If you like burgers try Konjoe burger, it was one of the best burgers I have ever had.

San Pedro Square Market? (18 Replies)
Hello, Sorry if incorrect forum (can it be please be moved if is?) but the Santa Clara forum seems dead and noticed a few relevant topics here. We are attending San Jose for Wrestlemania 31 in March and staying over in Santa Clara. I notice San Pedro Square Market get some good reviews for bars/restaurants and is only 7 miles from our hotel. My question is this a good area for a Saturday night out? Its actually my birthday on the Saturday (wrestlemania on the sunday) so me and my...More

You are in the right forum - San Pedro Sq Market is in SJ. And it is a good place to spend a Saturday evening. It's right downtown in an area with a lot of bars and small restaurants. SPSM is a lot of fun. There's usually a good crowd, people are laid back, it has a few bars plus a bunch of food stands so you can munch on this and that as the night goes on. The outdoor patio is a great place to hang out on a warm evening. Sometime they have bands. Also in the general area are several other...More
