To be honest this one star is for the customer service of this location. I take full responsibility that I messed up on the booking time. I booked a 930pm instead of 11pm. Again, this is my fault.
The one star is for the customer service when I show up at 11 and they have 2 other rooms that they can have us do at 11:45 pm but they wanted a $65 reschedule fee which is nowhere to be found in their website at all. The two other rooms were not booked and most likely won't be booked as we left around 11:20pm after trying to ask them why we just can't do those.
Again it is entirely my fault that I booked the wrong time not but to be honest, I prepaid and would have loved to do any of the rooms. They could have done this for us to show in good faith and we would have encouraged so many more people to come here but after this, no thanks. There is no rescheduling fee of $65 that I could find on their website but that is what they were asking for. Even if we were going to take an empty slot at the very end of the day.
Please don't make the same mistake I did and make sure you look at your time since they will not accommodate you at all. Again, this was very dumb on my part for not carefully looking at the time but they need to work on their customer service skills or clearly state their rescheduling policies on their website.

Hi Neil, sorry to hear about your situation. Our policy is clearly stated on our website "No refund will be provided in case of booking cancellation or no-show." This is in our terms and conditions which you have to agree to in order to book. We offer a rescheduling fee as a convenience to our guests. We attempted to contact you via phone multiple times at your room start time but there was no response. Unfortunately, when a guest reserves an experience and does not show up we are unable to book that experience for anyone else. This is why we have to stand by our cancellation policy.

We had a wonderful time in Operation-X13 in a group of 7: 3 adults, 2 teens, 10yr, and 6yr old. Family friendly and unexpected, delightful, interactive surprises.
Plus the employee Logan was super helpful in setting up the appointment and did a great job running the room.
2nd time at the escape room. Highly recommend.

This was our group's first time at the San Dimas location and our host, Jen, was absolutely fantastic. The room we did was more interactive that ones we have done in the past and she was a blast to engage with as we went through our room and its clues. Highly recommend this location and the room we did (I believe it was called X-13) with the army vests.

It was our second visit to an escape room and we had a lot of fun solving The Grandma's Room. The room itself was filled with many surprises and the construction was very impressive. When needed clues would be provided which they did an excellent job giving just enough info to help you move along. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun challenge. Price was a good value for an hour of fun.

My husband and I love escape rooms and often include them in our date nights. Well this time I was able to surprise him with the news I was pregnant. The staff was amazing and helped me hide a onsie in the room.

My partner and I have done 3 rooms with Trapped! and we will be back for more. We had great conversations with the workers and enjoyed the experience from start to finish. We did Down the Rabbit Hole, The Menagerie, and Pandora's Box. All had great tech, puzzles, and stories. The game master integration was unique and awesome. We are experienced and did all 3 rooms with just 2 of us and were successful in all of them. We will definitely be back for more :)

Had an amazing experience doing Operation X 13 with my mom for her birthday and some of our extended family. Definitely a more adult room, but still family friendly. Jordan was an amazing game master and really helped us feel like we were really completing our mission. I’ll definitely check out the rest of experiences Trapped! has to offer!

First time doing an escape room. The business was clean, the staff professional, and the escape room we did was really fun and interactive (Grandma's surprise). We will eventually go back to do the other 2 rooms! Highly recommend.

Decided to tackle "Operation X-13" with a group of 2 (with 15+ escape room experience) on President's Day 2/17/2020. It's a challenging and fun room, with tons of bonus quests to tackle if you complete the main mission with time to spare. The challenges were well thought out and planned and weren't too obvious or linear, which was good. Aaron and Michael were fun game masters and definitely a blast to chat with, and did a great job at immersing themselves into characters for the rooms. Only warning is, I hope you don't have a pacemaker if you're doing this room, because that Lookout can be REAL loud. We loved the room and challenges so much that we signed up for same-day Grandmother's Surprise (discount for same-day bookings!). Another well-crafted room with interesting puzzles that remind me of 60 Out's "Grandma's Masterplan," but with a different / shorter story line. I love the fact that for both rooms, the Game Master will go through the clues with you at the end, which not all locations do. Also love the fact that all the rooms may be linked through the nefarious Cybortek Corporation. It's a testament to the passion that these designers and creators have for their rooms, to throw small easter eggs that link their universe together. Definitely will be going back when "Pandora's Box" opens up!

Michael was a great GM. Both Grandma’s Surprise and Operation X13 were fun but Michael made Grandma’s extra fun by sending us extra puzzles. I would come back just for his customer service!
