Super safe park to take your kids.

You know when your kid takes off and you can't see him? A little scary but this park is fenced so if you can see the door you know your kids are safe. Every parents dream.

Fabulous Park

The Vista Hermosa Park is wonderful for children. The play castles, hands on music pieces and clean rest rooms make this park stand out from the rest.

Bring your sand toys and a friend!

What a beautiful park with a gate all around it to ensure kids can’t escape. I have 4 small kids and felt very safe letting them out of my line of site. Everything was kept up bathrooms were ok with a changing station that can accommodate older special needs kiddos. Kids had fun climbing the rocks, playing in the water table and sand box.
Bring sunscreen and come before the sun gets the slides hot.

We take our grandchildren there when they are in town. It is a truly amazing place for children and accessible to all.

Cute but not for us.

Took 5 children ages 3-9 and a special needs adult. They enjoyed it for a brief time but the toys were too hot for them to play on. The area was nice and clean. Not crowded unfortunately the people in the parking area (it is shared with a swimming area /sports area and park area ) were so rude it ruined the trip for us. Probably would go during a different time when it's not so hot.

Nice break for Young Children

Visiting with my son and his family in San Clemente and took our 2 year old granddaughter to this fabulous city park. No admission, lots of parking. Fenced completely with clean family style restrooms. Safety inherent in all the playground equipment and lots to do for ages 1-10. Will definitely return.

Great park for kids to play!

Short 15 minute drive to the sandcastle play area and definitely worth it for those with little ones that need to burn off some steam. Several play structures and nice and clean with soft spongy ground makes it a safe and fun place for all ages. My 5 year old kept wanting to go back.

Courtney's SandCastle is an incredible playground. The equipment there meets the needs of preschool and elementary kids, and it's all handicapped accessible. I love the sandcastle theme, they really put a lot of thought into the design, aesthetics, safety, and accessibility. There are bathrooms and covered pavilion with tables underneath.

Hours of fun for the little ones
Aug 2016 • Family
Such a beautiful playground and fun and interactive activities for kids of all ages. There are two areas separated by age groups and always opportunities to learn at each spot. Handicap accessibility was a priority given the fact that the visionary of this playground was a young girl who was wheel chair bound. She wanted a place where all kids irregardless of their physical limitations can enjoy themselves and let their imaginations run wild. The interactive sensory garden next door is peaceful and worth a walk about. Take a snack pack or picnic because the kids will definitely work up a sweat running wild at this playground wonderland.
