We brought our College group here for a weekend in January. Even with the California cold weather, we had a great time. The hookups made life a lot easier since we brought electric heaters to help with the cold. We used 3 campsites; one for the girls tent; one for the guys; one for the group eating "tent" and hanging... More

The beach was found by my wife who was looking for trails to walk . It is so beautiful and quiet with the Pacific Ocean tide coming in and out.

Beach is nice and being from the East coast my family and I enjoyed the beach. Del March beach down south is better though and less seaweed.

We live only two hours north but come here about once a month. They have both dry camping and full hookups. This is City camping and its LA so there is always a bit of traffic noise but in my opinion its worth it. The walk to the beach from campsite includes a steep hill, but your camping sticker gets... This is a nice stretch of beach, but it does tend to be more rocky than some we visited in the area.

This is a lovely beach and especially pleasant in the winter when visiting here from the rainy and cold northwest. Surfers in wet suits, fishermen on the pier, and brown pelicans playing in the Santa Ana to entertain.

We bought carryout dinner and went to the beach to watch the sunset. Great picnic area. Clean, safe, and covered. Water was really too cold to swim, but it was November.

Stopping here and get your feet wet. Remember this is an adventure of sight and sound. DO not rush by everything. The beach is great and the water is not so cold, remember your youth and enjoy leaving foot prints in the sand

I have the money to live anywhere I want, but this is the place I chose to call my home! If you love surfing and want to live in an affluent neighborhood, this is the place to call home.
