Considered as one of the most visited venues in California. Not only popular surfer venue but also ideal camper and swimmer destination. San Onofre State Beach is located next to inactive nuclear power plant, which only emphasizes its unusual character.

I have been surfing and camping at San Onofre over the years and the waves, warm waters, and classic weather keep surfers coming back to this gem with miles of beach breaks, camping up on the bluff and San Clemente nearby for dining and supplies.
