Fun Place

Great pier, beach, waves; parking it tough and you might have to walk a long way, but it's worth it.

Spent a lovely sunny afternoon watching the world on the pier. Restaurant on one side and more barfood/casual on the other

We went to the San Clemente Pier to have a meal at the restaurant at the beginning of the pier. This is such a great location to see the awesome sunset. The water on both sides of the pier is usually full of surfers. The nice thing about the evenings is that parking is free after 5 pm.

The San Clemente Pier is a bit more rustic and less commercialized than piers in other nearby SoCal cities. The surf was big the day we visited and the view of the sunset sublime. A wonderful place to pause and appreciate the beauty of our world.

We always take a leisurely stroll on the pier after our lunch at the "Fisherman". Most days are sunny in San Clemente, and much cooler than the Inland Valley where we live. It's treat to see the surfers enjoying their sport. At the end of the pier, you will see fishermen trying their luck at catching a fish. There's a... More

I've been going to San Clemente since I was a little child. My parents loved to camp at the State Park, so we spent a lot of time in SC.

If you can find a parking spot, this is a nice place to take a walk along a beach-side trail. The beach is relatively well maintained, and your fellow walkers are gracious.

Well, I live here, and my kids are young adults and one teenager, but we have gravitated towards the pier since before they were born. Walking from our house to the end of the pier and back up the hill to our place is also great exercise! There is no better place to see 4th of July fireworks than reflected... More

Since I live nearby I can tell you I look forward to my walks on the pier just to watch the surfers, the gorgeous sunsets and have a great meal at the Fisherman's restaurant. I often take my real estate clients to enjoy the pier after I have shown them our beautiful S.C. homes. All my clients comment how peaceful... More
