I've been visiting here yearly since 2010 & just love everything about this pier. From watching the surfers & swimmers & fishermen to Happy Hour at The Fusherman to the spectacular sunsets most nights this is truky a feel good place. Being able to attend the San Clemente Ocean Festival thee recently was icing on the cake!

We live in the area and have been visiting the Pier on a regular basis for the past ten years. There are times any number of events that bring good size crowds so arrive early at those times. The parking usually fills up by noon or so. The beaches are marked off for surfers and swimmers and life guards are... More

Also very close to San Juan Capistrano (go to the Mission of San Juan Capistrano) so you can get double the beauty for one trip.

The San Clemente Pier is a wonderful place just to walk with great views. Do not miss the Fisherman Oyster Bar at the foot of the pier.

Strolled along the pier admiring the views and the sunshine and had a very enjoyable few minutes at the end of the pier as a young lady violinist was busking and she was a very talented musician.

I am a fan of piers, each one with its own personality. San Clemente is a smaller laid back Southern CA beach town. The pier fits that image. Smaller than nearby piers, no restaurant at the end (only a small snack shop with souvenirs) and not much in the way of fisherman. The restaurants at the base are an Oyster... More

We were at San Clemente during Oceanfest 2016 with some friends and we had a really fun time. There was so much going on, boat races, antique Woodie car show, lots of games and food ! The weather was perfect and the kids were able to play under the pier in the shade! It was just the most fun day!

A must in San Clemente! Try to go around the sunset time. Breathtaking! Wear flat shoes! In the evening gets chilly so bring a sweater. Lots of people.
