We had time to kill before our flight home from San Francisco and found this park close to the airport. The path is paved and not steep so it's a good trail for older folks and young kids. We got some great photos and found a few spots where we could safely go down to the water.…

This is a great place to hike, watch birds and just generally connect with nature. Take mud shoes during winter or spring walks as the trails can be muddy and make you short of breath for sure. School groups do take walks here so if you want to really connect with nature, look for school buses.…

You can see a lot of area from San Francisco all of the way down the peninsula. If your a airline spotter, it might be a little far away but you can still see the landings and takeoffs at SFO.

San Bruno Point park has amazing views and a nice place to check out if your in San Bruno area. Found this place after researching the area and it did not disappoint. The views across the bay are stunning.

There is a cool structure called Whistling Tower which is essentially a metal structure with holes that was erected on a very windy point. The result is a musical instrument played by the wind. You'll have to just hear it to experience the unique sounds.
