It's very tough walk to these springs, and although they are beautiful springs I don't think it was worth the effort. Takes about 2 hours each way and the last bit of the walk is EXTREMELY steep and it very easy to fall over. I...More

Water was gross had trash in it. No shade and lots of jeeps and dirt bikes with people not watching where they are going.

Amazing tranquil location to get away from the city and reconnect with nature. Make sure to pack everything you need for the day. Make sure to pick up an extra piece of trash on your way out..... even if it's not yours. Keep it clean...More

There are a few ways to hike in to the hot springs, and I highly recommend the Bradford Ridge hike (just Google that for directions). Go early to avoid the crowds and beer bong crowd.

Downhill hike from Bowen Ranch of about 1 hour leads to these hot springs on the banks of a cold swiftly flowing stream. I encountered about 30 people in the pools and vicinity, about 6 taking advantage of the clothing optional locale. The only mildly...More

I want to preface my review with, I did HOURS of research to prepare for this excursion and none of that helped. I normally take pride in my ability to navigate unfamiliar territory. I could not find Bowen Ranch to save my life. The directions...More

I went there 2 times already and it is one of the best camping spots in California. There is a river, a lake and a natural Jacuzzi.

The trail up to the hot springs is narrow & runs along the side of the mountain. Be aware of your surroundings & take plenty of water. Personally, I would not swim in or drink the water since it has known to be contaminated. Make...More
