I am a professional Chauffeur and have been to over 300 of the 500 + wineries in Napa. From the large mass produced wines to the small ultra boutique wineries. Today was my 1st visit to William Harrison and i was totally impressed with the service and hospitality we were shown from Victoria and Megan. Not only did my clients... More

In St. Helena on the Silverado Trail is a jewel of a vineyard and winery. William Harrison Vineyards and Winery, named for it's founder William Harrison, is perfect for true wine lovers. The tasting room is warm, and small, and is run by wonderful staff. It was our lucky day. The owner, Bill as he likes to be called, happened... More

There are still a few undiscovered jewels in Napa. What a wonderful experience! Our family had a great pic nick, and while we were tasting, our children walked through the vineyards and played bocce ball. Warm inviting, and knowledgeable staff. I even talked with the owner Bill Harrison. I was amazed that he actually works the vineyards himself! If you... More

After lunch and heading back to the hotel we made a quick stop @ William Harrison winery and we are glad we did. While you do not need a reservation it had a steady flow of people. The woman pouring was also fun and knowledgable about the wine. We liked the majority of the wine the Reds were our favorites... More

Okay, so all of the locals already know about William Harrison Winery's outstanding wines. If you don't, make certain not to miss stopping at their tasteful yet unassuming location on the Silverado Trail. It isn't touristy at all because it's all about the wine! Which brings me to the reason for this review... Wm. Harrison Winery's Cabernet Sauvignon has become... More

I have previously reviewed Wm. Harrison winery following a visit to the Napa Valley area, but now would like to comment on a different aspect of their services (recent delivery of wine, hence the Oct 2015 "visit" date). While in Wine Country, my wife and I selected a handful of wineries from which to order wines to be shipped to... More

We had a lovely tasting at William Harrison. It's a very small estate, in a western hunting lodge. The attendants at the tasting room we're very knowledgeable and most pleasant. It was not crowded but still had very fine wines.

We enjoyed our visit although the small tasting room was full to capacity upon arrival. Luckily once folks cleared out we were there all alone. The wines were good and our host very friendly. Nice outdoor porch to enjoy a picnic when the weather is warm.

Great small winery! Spent time with the owner, Bill Harrison. Great guy! Former 1st Infantry Division soldier who now makes a terrific wine! Off the beaten path and away from the commercialized crowds. Look them up, you won't be sorry!
