My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Ballentine! Our tour guide arranged our visit, and I am so glad that she did. Nick Leishman took fantastic care of us and carefully guided us through a fabulous selection of wines. Nick treated us like old friends, and we truly had fun tasting the wines and learning about the very neat history of Ballentine. You should definitely visit here on your next trip to Napa!

Wonderful wine to taste, small, friendly staff. They are eager to teach you about the business and give you a tour of their beautiful facility. Wine was very delicious! Super good variety. The family story is sweet to hear. We joined the club.... looking forward to tasty, fresh wines year around!

We had dinner the night before with Betty Ballentine who happened to share the same birthday with me. We spent the day at a large winery prior to our dinner that night. And...when Betty's son said yes you need dessert, it's your birthday, that's all I needed to hear. Betty and her husband own Ballentine Vineyards. She invited us to stop by the next day on our way home. We did to visit Betty. Let's just say she is over 90 and has a lot to share. What was fortunate for us, is that even though we did not have reservations, we were able to visit and share in the wine experience through Betty. It was terrific to hear about the wine business by a family owned and operated winery since 1906. The wines we tasted were delicious and of course, we took home a few. The staff was engaging and informative and most helpful. Their wine maker gave us a tour and sampling of the fresh grapes picked the night before. From the looks of it, their wines have won quite a few awards. What a fabulous way to end a week-day get-away with my sister. This place was delightful and unexpected surprise.

The wine is great. We have been members for three years and all wine we have received is great. The winery is small and the staff is very friendly. Prices are very reasonable. We live out of state and we are unfortunate that we cannot visit the winery more frequently.

We stopped at Ballantine On a whim while driving by and what a GEM. We were there about 15 minutes before their opening time for the and were treated like royalty. I forgot the name of the woman who served us but she was fabulous and loves her work! We tried several wines and my wife and I enjoyed them all. We did buy four bottles to be shipped to us and will enjoy them for special occasions. Only winery that we purchased from because of the quality we both liked. Stay doing what you are doing! You have it figured out.
