Lovely tasting room has indoor and outdoor seating for one of the oldest family owned wineries in Napa Valley. A variety of excellent whites and reds at different price points. They have 2 levels of tastings and if two people, recommend one of each. The pours are generous and unhurried. Daniel was our host and had fun stories about Flora Springs' history, understandable explanations on the wines and tasting notes, and food pairings. Plenty of parking right on the main highway next to Gary's Marketplace where you can get good snacks before or after your tasting. Highly recommend for an easy, fun tasting of delicious wines.

Wonderful family owned vineyard with a small, intimate tasting facility. Ignacio guided us through their wines, from light whites to their big reds and we enjoyed each and every one of them. As an added benefit, they may have the nicest wine bottles in the valley.

Careful though, they have sold their winery building, still list here as Flora Springs Winery. This is their tasting location now and for the foreseeable future.

Once before we visited the FS winery, and this year due to COVID we experienced the FS Room. The winery is nice, but the Room is certainly fine also. Matthew coordinated the tasting and poured the wine. He was a great resource that offered and listened with the perfect balance. We loved the outdoor experience and the wine. Of the 11 wineries we visited this trip, it was tied with just one other for a perfect experience score.

I am no stranger to the wine-country and visit around 8-10 times per year. I have never been to Flora, as I am am V. Sattui member and since it is across the street, I have not had a chance to visit while the area. Today, however, my girlfriends and I decided to try something new, in celebration of a birthday and decided to stop in. It was empty. Aside from one couple and maybe a small table of folks sitting outside. When we inquired about getting a tasting for a group of 7, the staff member rudely stated that he could not accommodate us without a reservation. I asked if it was possible to make a reservation and he stated in a very rude tone, "it is too late for that... We have parties coming in later today". When we asked if we could possibly split our group, have a few served inside and a few outside he said "no we cannot accommodate you". Now again let me state that the place was empty, the staff made no effort what so ever to indicate any inclination to serve anyone in my party and we're extraordinarily rude. My girlfirends tried every way to at least get a tasting for the birthday girl, whom had made the original request to go there. Not one of the several staff present made any attempt to be accommodating, friendly or even apologetic for their inability to provide us an opportunity to spend money in their establishment. It did not pass our attention that our group of all women of color was treated with little respect or offered any hint of customer service and quite frankly we felt we were mistreated for being women of color (mostly African American). We ultimately took our group to four other local wineries who were all wonderfully accommodating without reservation, friendly and who had no problem accepting the nearly thousand dollars worth of wine that we purchased between us today. We will never darken the doorways of this establishment again and being from a family of folk who continue to work in or who all retired from upper management in the local wine business, I will be making quite a fuss about being discriminated against today, with my distinguished audience of wine company professionals. Shame on you. Protocol is protocol but there is a way to communicate things in a way that still lends to great customer service and there is a way to completely offend.

Flora Springs is phenomenal and should be at the top of every cabernet lovers must do list for Napa Valley. They produce an amazing line up of single vineyard cabernets but it doesn’t stop there. The hospitality manager, Travis was an absolute pleasure with whom to interact. Travis was incredibly accommodating, friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and showed genuine interest in us, and our shared love of Napa cabernet. Travis epitomizes what I feel to be the highest standards in customer service and provided a truly transcendent experience. He met us with even more enthusiasm than we brought with us, which was substantial. In addition, the grounds are absolutely breathtaking. I could not have imagined a better setting in which to sample the finest cabernets I have ever had the pleasure of tasting.

On our first visit to Napa back in the summer of 2013, we stopped in to the tasting room. We had a great experience and loved the wines so much we began ordering from them. As we planned our return trip for Spring Break this year, we knew we wanted to take the tour of the winery. The Estate is beautiful and the tour was phenomenal. Our host Scott was extremely knowledgable and educated us on the entire process (the best orator we have encountered in Napa)! It was hands down the best winery tour we have been on. I would recommend this tour to everyone who loves excellent wine, beautiful scenery and friendly people.

We were going to Dean and Delucca and decided to go to Flora Springs Winery for a tasting which is across the parking lot. The winery was so nicely decorated for the Christmas Holidays - perfect to put one in a holiday mood. Tasting was fun and staff was friendly and good. They have good cabernet wine.

My mom, sister, and I visited Napa for a girl's trip and were recommended and booked into Flora Springs Estate (not the tasting room) by Beau Wine Tours. We had a private tasting and cellar room visit. Our host was Karl and I cannot say enough good things about him. Karl was extremely knowledgeable and provided us with a tour of the caves. We did a wine tasting from the barrel, tasting the same wine from two different types of oak. I can say that this tour (we were at Flora for about 2 hours), was the most educational experience we had while in Napa. Knowing the wines we like, but not being experts by any means, this was a great way to start our day in Napa.

Throughout the rest of the trip, we would refer back to Flora. We ended up joining the wine club as well. I would highly recommend doing a tasting at Flora, as well as trying to go and do the cave tour. Everything was thoroughly planned and the history of the vineyard is also quite interesting.

Fantastic welcome and a personal tour for our family group of six. Travis was brilliant. A tour of the caves and a tasting of all their fabulous wines including a barrel tasting. A little more expensive than some, but super generous pours. One of our best stops on a tour with Alicia our Platypus driver.

I was lucky enough to purchase a trip from a charity auction that included a tour and tasting at Flora Springs Estate. While the wine is available at the tasting room, if pre-planning your trip is an option, schedule at the Estate. Apparently they are only allowed a certain number of guests daily at that location, so making an appointment is essential. We were met by the friendly Karl and given a brief history of the lovely grounds while sampling 2 of their white wines. This was followed by a brief tour of the winery and then the cave for barrel tasting. We explored the grounds of the original home of the owner. Finally we returned to the estate's tasting room for a sit-down tasting of their single vineyard reds. It was a fantastic experience. While we often enjoy the high-end cabernet, we loved the variety and affordability of some really decent wines. Highly recommend!
