Napa Valley Wine Excursions specializes in custom wine tours in the Napa Valley guided by a Napa native. As the owner of Napa Valley Wine Excursions, it is my pleasure to create a unique wine tour experience for you that only a Napa native can provide. Having lived here my entire life, I have been fortunate enough to have established strong relationships with many of the most exclusive wineries in the Valley. With a background in the wine industry as well, I am equipped to create an experience for you that will give you a true taste of what the Napa Valley has to offer. Your day can include visits to the vineyards, caves, and tasting rooms of Napa's most famous wineries. In addition, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the novelty of exceptional wines in the cellars and homes of family-owned, boutique wineries.

Paul certainly lived up to his five star ratings on our recent trip to Napa! We already had appointments lined up at several larger scale wineries but Paul convinced us to incorporate a couple of boutique places into our itinerary, which he arranged for us. We are so glad that we did because both places ended up being amongst our favorite places. He was excellent at communicating ahead of time and very flexible, as we made some last minute changes. He picked us up in his van promptly and had plenty of water. Paul knows the Napa area extensively and provided great info about the region, owners, and varieties. Most importantly, Paul was very fun and engaging. We will most definitely use Paul on our next visit to Napa!

A day with Paul in Napa Valley and life-long friends is just the medicine one needs in dealing with this year. The service is outstanding, the wineries we were privileged to attend with Paul's expertise and relationships were fantastic. A visitor can plan their own trip, however, you will not see the wineries that Paul will have access to. The farm-to-fork wine tasting is an experience I highly recommend. Do not delay your trip to Napa, it is a do not miss experience when wanting to visit Napa.

I traveled to Napa with a group of 9 girls for a birthday celebration. Our weekend was incredible and we owe a lot of that to Paul and his team. I greatly appreciated Paul's quick responses and organization throughout the months leading up to the trip. Paul's strategic winery planning was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed having a little taste of all the different wineries from large commercial ones with gorgeous views to an intimate setting with a great host. We loved the variety of wine and sparkling wine. Our drivers were Steve and Jacob - both great guides! Steve was so accommodating to an unfortunate traffic delay and Jacob kindly ran some errands for us while we were at a winery and dropped us off in Yountville as we requested. Their flexibility, knowledge, and great personalities made our excursions! We would highly recommend booking NV Wine Excursions for your tours!

Paul and his team were truly outstanding. We have used driving services in Napa Valley before, but this was a different level of service. Paul set up the most amazing schedule, seamlessly mixing our requests and his outstanding recommendations. We were kept informed about our itinerary regularly, which gave us peace of mind and built our excitement. He listened to the type of winery visits we were looking for and delivered. John and Steve were knowledgeable about the area and gave us great tips. We will absolutely use Napa Valley Wine Excursions on our visits.

This was our first time in Napa. Hiring Paul Bailey is definitely the right choice. We even had an itinerary planned but what makes them great is they help fill in any gaps you may need and keeps track of everything for you. They found us lunch places which we would never have found. They called ahead to our next reservations and made any adjustments. They made our experience carefree!!
Aside from that, Paul and our other driver Jacob were extraordinary. They are very personable and entertaining! We wish we were able to spend more time with them. We felt we did it right.
Their price is worth the experience. I shopped around and Paul was immediate in his correspondence. We canceled the trip once due to Covid and he kept in touch with no pressure at all. He kept me up to date in the situation in Napa.
If you plan a trip to Napa, Paul and his guys make it extremely enjoyable.

When our family made the decision to spend Thanksgiving week in Napa, we contacted Paul Bailey to assist us in arranging our two days of touring wineries and vineyards. He asked for lots of input as to where we’d been before, our likes and dislikes, time frames, etc. We also had some preferences on certain places we definitely wanted to visit. He took all that information and created 2 wonderfully perfect, luscious days of visiting some spectacular, unique, friendly and beautiful wineries. He asked us to trust him with his selections....most were wines we had never heard of before. We did trust him and we were not disappointed!! We visited such a variety of places, each providing us with a uniquely fabulous experience and amazing wine tastings. We were able to discover some great new wines, learned how much we didn’t know about the whole wine making process, from start to finish, and how much that process can vary from producer to producer.
While Paul was not able to actually be our driver, he arranged for Jake to drive us both days. Jake was not just a driver, he was full of knowledge about the area, the wineries themselves, the history and so much more!
To summarize, using Paul to help plan and guide our trip was invaluable! I can’t imagine that we would have had near the spectacular experience we did without his guidance. You can go to Napa and hit all the regular spots that are known to everyone, or you can use the services of Paul and get a unique, unforgettable experience in Napa!!

On a recommendation from a co-worker, I contacted Paul to set up two days of wine tasting in Napa for my wife’s birthday and for getting our family together for the first time in nearly two years.
Paul asked the types of wines we liked, where we would be staying, and also coordinating the times so we could make it back for our dinners reservations. I was in continual conversation with Paul for many weeks, as the tour was being put together.
I have gone wine tasting many times, where the normal is; standing at the counter trying to get the attention of the wine server for your next tasting and never getting any personal attention.
I didn’t know what to expect from Napa Valley Wine Excursions.
To say that we went wine tasting for two days is a HUGE understatement.
Paul arranged the ultimate wine tasting experience, an education, with a dedicated host, just for our family, at each winery. All the tasting were sit down style tastings, with many having a tour of the grounds or their wine caves. Each winery raved about Paul as being one of the best in the valley.
One winery even stated, “We are a members only winery and do not take outside reservations. However, we know Paul and he’s allowed to bring groups to our winery” (which turned out to be our favorite winery of the two days).
Given the torrential rains that Napa recently experienced, Paul contacted us to make a few slight adjustments, which turned out exceptionally well.
Our driver, Gary, has a deep knowledge of Napa, the wineries, the history and was an excellent driver.
I can without hesitation recommend Paul and the Napa Valley Winery Excursions as the way to go and you won’t be disappointed.

I was visiting wine country for the first time from Hawaii with a group of my girlfriends for a bachelorette party. Paul Bailey was so patient, responsive, and helpful in organizing our day from start to finish. He gave us many suggestions based on our preferences and created the best day of our trip by far. Jacob Costa was our driver for the day and he went above & beyond for us. He was welcoming, personable, and knowledgable. He gave us tidbits on the wineries we were visiting throughout our drive, where we did not feel overwhelmed with info. He also made sure we planned accordingly so we got the best experience from our tastings. We were running late for one tasting (purely our fault), and rearranged our schedule for us. He even graciously offered to take photos of us at each winery so we could document our experience. (Not an easy feat when taking photos of 6 females). I would 1000x recommend Napa Valley Wine Excursions Tours to all my friends & family! Thank you Paul & Jacob!!!

There is no way to describe Paul and the experience with him other than spectacular. My wife and I have used him for both our 25th and 30th anniversary trips. Two of the most enjoyable weeks of our marriage.
Paul will show you a Napa you didn't know existed and i guarantee you won't find on your own. Spend the money. Run, don't walk to get on his schedule.
We've developed relationships with wines, vintners and owners that have laster years.
I interviewed 3 people before selcting Paul. I wouldn't dream of returning to Napa without my man Paul.

We had the pleasure of using Napa Valley Wine Excursions for three days the beginning of August 2021. I highly recommend Paul Bailey and his team, they are professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant to be around. The vehicle was immaculate and they did a great job keeping us on schedule, calling ahead when there were delays, and really simply taking care of every detail that was needed to make sure our time in the Valley was enjoyable. If you are headed to Napa then you don't want to miss out on fantastic wine tasting and you don't want to risk driving, you'll be glad that you put yourself and your group in Paul's capable care!

Don't know for sure, but Paul picked us up at SFO and returned us to airport after our stay. You might give Paul a call and check it out. He is extremely personable and accommodating.
