We spent four days in Napa, touring a different winery each day, and sampling additional wines in tasting rooms in the evenings. Our experience at Newton was by far the best... both the tour and the wines.

Situated on top of Spring Mountain (and I do mean the TOP) the views of the valley are incredible. Karen, our wonderful tour guide, started us off with a taste of Chardonnay and the opportunity to snap pics from their lovely patio.

Then we walked the property and learned the fascinating history and processes used to make wine in such a challenging topography. The gardens are just gorgeous and we appreciated Karen’s flexibility in letting us dawdle there a bit.

We returned for a seated tasting of 5 wines (advertised as 4 but Karen gave us a bonus extra). The wines were truly remarkable. This place certainly knows their business and they know how to make guests feel special. We appreciated the small size limit for the tour/tasting, keeping it warm and intimate.

This was the highlight of our entire time in Napa. Can’t wait to come back.

This is our second time visiting Newton, and they definitely give the best wine tour. Their gardens are gorgeous, and their wine is AMAZING! Be sure to reserve your tour in advance. Additionally, this is way up on a mountain, so be sure you have a DD.

We had met Alberto the wine maker and JB at another Newton Event. The event they hosted was a class-act in every way. The hosts were delightful, the wines were great, and the whole experience was amazing I was familiar with the unfiltered chardonnay which is smooth as silk. We love this style of chardonnay! At the event we were encouraged to visit the Vineyard.

Well, last week we were up in Napa and we contacted the winery and found they had availability for us to do a tour and tasting on our last day. We had a wonderful experience there, as well. We had an extensive tour by Edgar, who was so knowledgeable about the history of the winery and the wine making processes. Very impressive!

They have beautiful caves to explore, and the grounds are beautiful. They are on Spring Mountain. The views are incredible. After the tour we were taken to a beautifully appointed room with a large table, set up for our tasting experience. There were 3 other couples on the tour. We got to enjoy 3 wines and learned more about the wines and the winery.

We are thrilled we got to experience this winery with all it's charm and history.

Not to mention they have just installed a Tesla charging station, and as this was the last day of our getaway our battery was getting low. This saved us from having to stop on our way back to Walnut Creek.

Thanks to everyone at Newton who were so wonderful and kind!

Pretty Estate, UP a very curvy and winding road.
The views are amazing.

Not a good place to taste if you've been tasting all day. The road that leads to the estate could be a dangerous drive. Its up a very steep and windy hill.

They charge a $40 fee to all of those who enter. Even, if you don't taste the wine.

Wine's are decent in price and quality. You will be tasting wines that average $40 a bottle.

I found the women who worked with us, not paying attention to our request.
They poured a small taste in the same glass. We had asked for three glasses so we could compare the wines. This did not happen.

One of us in our party was a designated driver. They charged her the $40 tasting fee even know she was not drinking. The told us she went on the tour, walking the grounds with us so she was charged.

Had we known this, we would not have gone to this estate.
I think they need a more responsible policy for those who use drivers who are not drinking

They say you can't please everyone, but Newton did. Everyone in our group agreed that Newton was our favorite experience, hands down. Amazing wines, check. Breathtaking sites, check. Educational tour, check. Memorable and fun experience, check. JJ was absolutely wonderful. It was so refreshing to gain the knowledge without all of the pomp and circumstance. He made the tour and tasting so wonderful, we didn't want to move on. Thank you, JJ and Newton. We literally can't wait to get our wine shipment.

We went to Newton Vineyard for their wine pairing. We received a very gracious welcome, and informative tour of a beautiful location, and a great pairing experience. We enjoy the wineries that offer pairings so we can see how the wines could pair with food and because the chefs at the wineries tend to be great. At Newton the $40 we spent on the pairing meal was worth it and gave us ideas of recipes we could create at home. Newton's unfiltered wines are delicious and I would recommend this experience to anyone. I would not, however, recommend joining the wine club. After the meal we got the sales pitch on the club and the benefits of joining while we were there. We bit. I got our first club shipment today and realized that, with the club discount, I was still paying more than it would cost me to buy the wine at our local merchant. What really did it, though, was the cellar wine they sent, a 2002 unfiltered cab, for which we were charged $110. Look it up on line and you'll see you can get it for under $50. The winery was just sold and went corporate. I think greed is taking over. Too bad.

Amazing experience in Napa Valley.
We arrived in Napa hoping to find not a too much touristic experience, but something with a special taste and with very good wine having nothing to envy to italian or other european wines. we found it!! View from the wineyard is so beautiful! we had Maria as ambassador, she is very kind, really expert and very professional.I would definitely recommend the private experience to demanding visitors such as european/italian ones. wine is really amazing!

I planned and executed a proposal at Newton for my then-girlfriend/now-fiance in early May 2019, and I cannot commend the Newton team highly enough. Everything — including Karen and Maria's assistance in booking/planning the event, Maria's tour & tasting the day of, Edgar setting me up in the garden for the proposal, and Maria accommodating us after I popped the question — was absolutely perfect. Furthermore, the wine is top notch and the scenery is unparalleled in its beauty. I will highly recommend Newton to all of my friends and family for as long as I may live. A+++++

After doing some research on vineyards in the area, I came across Newton Vineyards. Other reviewers had called this vineyard a "hidden gem" and it appealed to me that it was pushed far back away from the main tourist areas. Boy were they right! Everything from the location, scenery, amazing wines and staff far succeeded my expectations.

My boyfriend and I spent the day on a wine tour with our tour guide Justin (who by the way was incredibly knowledgeable, personable and fun). He took us around the beautiful grounds, always replenished our glasses and even took our photos. At the end of the tour he helped my boyfriend arrange a beautiful proposal that overlooked the valley. A gentleman who I believe is one of the owners/managers also gave us a high end, delicious bottle of red wine as a congratulations. Thank you for making our day so special, I cannot recommend this winery enough!
