Step off the highway 29 path in order to have a fantastic experience at Schweiger. You'll be well attended to at your desired pace. If you can flag down the owner or wine maker (they'll be working!) they will be happy to come chat for a bit. Just a great welcoming staff and worthwhile wines.

Outstanding!!!! Through suggestions from friends we went here and it was easily the best of the day. Great location and friendly/welcoming environment. Even the owner, who was working (Fred) took time out to come meet us. Wines we tasted were great.

This was our first visit to this winery so we didn't know what to expect. Upon arriving we were greeted by the owner, Fred who is in his 80's and is as friendly as can be. We sat down at a private table with a great view and got to taste about 7 different wines. The woman that poured the... More

We had a great afternoon here enjoying delicious wine and cheese and the beautiful view from the deck outside of their tasting room. Met the founder (and owner), Fred Schweiger, who was happy to spend time with us, imparting his wine making knowledge. Great wine, reasonably priced presented by friendly staff, with a beautiful scenery and a wonderful drive up... More

There were many things we enjoyed about Schweiger. We experienced wonderful hospitality from Laurel from the moment we arrived. We had our tasting on the balcony where we enjoyed good wine and our lunch with a beautiful view, all at a relaxed pace.

We visited this winery on a recommendation of a host from another winery. It exceeded our expectations! The wine was fantastic! The hostess, Wendy, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. I love that she greeted us in the parking lot wine a glass of wine. In addition, the view is spectacular! I highly recommend visiting Schweiger Vineyards!

Schwieger was one of our 3 winery visits to Spring Mountain and was a great time. We finished up our first visit a bit sooner and arrived before our scheduled appointment but they had no problems accommodating us. Lovely winery with great views of their vineyard. They have a fantastic chard and a Family cuvee red which were our favorites... More

Granted, this was our last stop on a day of visits to other, more impressive vineyards, so we are somewhat jaded. But, their tastings are very over-priced, especially considering the quality of the wine, hence the lackluster review.

Our tasting at Schweiger was one of the highlights of our trip to Napa! The vineyard is a hidden gem up in Spring Mountain complete with beautiful views and vast scenery. My boyfriend and I sat outside on a balcony overlooking the vineyard as our tasting was led by an incredibly sweet and knowledgeable woman. The experience had a much... More

5 stars for this family owned winery. Tastings r by appt only. Upon arrival we were greeted outside with a glass of sav blanc. That was a nice touch. The merlots were delicious and memorable. The costs of the wines were very reasonable.
