You have your choice of things to do at the park ranging from picnics, boating, camping on the bank near the water. You will enjoy the feel of soaking your feet in the cold river water during the Summer and early Fall months. I especially...More

We went there for a music festival and was pretty disappointed in venue. I went for a walk by the river and a fish hook pierced my sandal. Also there were some sketchy characters there. I would never go there as I would other parks.

Visited from the UK and stayed in a hotel right near the park. The quickest route for me to walk into the city was along the banks of the river which I believe form part of the park. There are a lot of homeless people...More

Be aware that Discovery Park is under water. We tried to get close but the road and parking lot can't be reached. If you are planning to go there before the end of February, I would call ahead.

We were just there for the Aftershock rock festival so this review is centered around the park as a place to see a show. First off, the place is huge. There were (according to some) about 45,000 people at the event and, unless you were...More
