Needed to kill some time before an afternoon performance so toured the capital. Holy cow, what an amazing building and interesting history. Highly recommend if you have a couple of hours.

We always feel a sense of pride when we visit the Capitol building. The architecture and materials used are from another era and are not to be missed. Don't forget to look down at the marble floors and up at the ornate ceilings.

To sign up for a public tour, please visit Room B-27 in the lower level (basement) of the Capitol. There are signs and docents to direct you. Tours leave on the hour, beginning at 9 am; the last tour leaves at 4 pm. You do... More
