Pretty course near the river

This is a very fun course to play. Leafy, tree-lined fairways, but wide enough so the trees usually aren't a factor. Great staff and clubhouse, and for the money, it's a great deal. Greens are well-maintained and putts roll nicely.

I have played Teal Bend several times and enjoy the course. It is a good lay out with many interesting challenges. I played at a convention golf event, but have played there as an outing. Check Golf Now for green fee deals.

Teal Bend is an excellent, well maintained golf course near the Sacramento airport. It features some interesting holes and provides a challenge for golfers of all abilities. The practice facilities are first rate, with a grass tee driving range, two nice putting greens and a separate chipping/pitching green. Throw in a nice snack shop, full bar and reasonable rates. Teal... More

This course is a little ways out of Sacramento, near the airport. The setting is pretty, but with the drought there were dry areas as would be expected. The course is low key and casual; this is not a fancy, wear your best and be ready to tip every time you turn around track. Fairways are open and greens aren't... More

Not sure why no one is giving this 5 stars but having played courses all over CA, NV, and AZ this is top of the list. This is a true gem hidden along the Sac Delta. Each hole is a tree lined oasis offering you complete solitude from all the other holes. The last course I played remotely comparable was... More

It's out of the way. On the river behind the airport. Some reachable par fives if you can hit a draw. Not a course for slicers. Though you will probably find a lot of balls while looking for your own. Not much of a restaurant, but practice area is good. Gotta try it at least once.

Fairly wide open course and greens and bunkers were in excellent shape when we played. On some holes if you hit it out of bounds, replay or drop. Will not be easy to find anything. Some very scenic holes and wildlife. We saw a fox on number 4 and that was pretty cool. Right by the airport so if you... More

Teal Bend is a great course to play, even for the beginner. The greens are well taken care of and the staff is very friendly. They being you a cart right to your car. One thing to note, especially in the summer months. Make sure to wear a lot of mosquito repellent. Mosquitos are everywhere and they will bite you... More

This is a well-maintained course that doesn't get as crowded as some of the other Sacramento courses. Plus, it has a couple of greens that will really test your putting abilities.
