About
Sacramento's 16 passenger Brew Boat provides 1.5 hour pedal-powered party boat tours on the Sacramento River. We have 2 Cycleboats that each seat 16 passengers as well as Tiki Boat that seats 18 passengers. Groups can bring their own beer/cider/wine aboard the chartered boat (limit 3 drinks per guest) as we cruise, pedal, enjoy music, and have fun on the river. It's the perfect way to celebrate birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, team building, and celebratory group outings.

My friends and I had a blast!! Our hosts provided an environment to relax and have fun. We brought wine we picked up in Napa and some snacks to enjoy. Unexpected water gun battles with other Sac Brew Boats passing by were hilarious. The boat was clean and stocked with things to make the trip fun! We HIGHLY recommend this experience! It was so much more than we expected and was advertised!!

It’s so nice to just chill on the river with a beer. It’s so much fun and worth the price. I’m definitely doing this again!

We had a great time and would love to do it again! I would recommend doing this with a group of friends and then it's like your own private boat party!

I wouldn't do Sac Brew Boat again. I bought tickets for a group a month or so ahead of time. A few days before the ride, two members of our party had a military obligation and could not attend. It was too late to get a refund. They said they need a week's notice which is understandable. The ride itself was decent, not worth the money.

I had a great time on the Sac Brew Boat with my work family. Captain Aaron and Deb were wonderful and knowledgeable about the area. We visited the Virgin Sturgeon and had a great time watching the sea lions playing in the water. I would go again!

I rented a private tour this passed weekend for my birthday and it was a great value! There was room for up to 16 guests on the boat, including 10 bike seats for those who want to pedal (which is optional). We had a captain - Aaron and a first mate- Katie, who were amazing, fun, helpful and welcoming.
We brought our own beer, seltzers, and snacks on the boat ride. There's a max of 4 drinks per person, and you wouldn't want to overpack for this ride, anyway. I also packed mini water bottles in case anyone needed to take a break from drinking.
Now, onto the actual boat ride. We sailed from the port and had about a 90 min ride through the River. There's a long table top where we can pedal from, and there's ice chests there to store anything as well. I wanted to do karaoke on my phone, and there was bluetooth connection onboard so i didn't have to worry about bringing a speaker! Aaron even brought out an echo-y karaoke microphone for us to sing with!
About halfway through the ride, before coming back to port, we stopped at the Virgin Sturgeon, a cute maritime themed bar and we took some shots, and got some drinks to-go in plastic cups.
The ride was super laid back, and didn't sway so nobody got sea sick. I'd definitely consider this for a large group again, and even would get a seat on the public ride for just a few people.

I went with my husband, sister, brother and the other guests (not part of our group). We all had a great time! The crew was very friendly and professional. You can bring your own drinks, snacks, music and just relax. Pedaling is not necessary.
On a side note, keep in mind there are no restrooms on the boat or at the dock. The public restroom is about 200 ft from the top of the dock entrance.
We would definitely go back again!

Great way to stay cool on a 100 degree day. The Captain and first mate were very qualified and made our trip enjoyable. Even though you peddle, you don't have to - the boat does have a motor!

I was lucky enough to be able to join my friends who had an extra ticket for this amazing BYOB boat tour. We put our wine in plastic bottles and brought cups and had a great time with the other group on board. We drank and chatted and danced and had so much fun we were truly sad when the hour and a half was up. I highly recommend this experience, I know we will be back for sure!

Great weather, good music, fun ladies.
Everything was done beautifully. Knowledgeable captain. Thanks for taking the waves from the speed boats.
Suggestion: get purse hooks.
