Interesting & unique history of academic institutions & progress that has occurred in Sacramento. A beautiful campus that began at the current location in the 1920's & continues currently. Provides a nice opportunity to understand post K-12 education & diversity of the students who have attended a two year college or trained to learn training for vocations.

A local "junior college." Not a tourist attraction. Nothing to see or do for tourists and parking is impossible. It is in a nice residential area, South Land Park, that is worth a drive through.

One of 3 Juco's in the Sacramento area. This is just south of downtown with easy light rail and bus access. The sports teams used to be top notch, but have fallen out of favor to area athletes. Still a great place for an education and to get your AA. Most classes are not impacted like they were 2 years... More

Hard to believe I lived within walking distance of this small, local icon for 16 years and never been on campus! Well, today was the day! Founded in 1916, Sacramento City College is a very walkable, small campus with plenty to offer, the campus includes a small cafe, a large 1/2 coliseum stadium that hosts sporting events for both the... Check what's going on, because being a college campus means activities, etc.! Buildings (new and old) are styled after the 1960's!

The classes never seem to have a wait time, and the bridge program they do with the local high schools is awesome.
