If you are an old movie theater buff, you may enjoy the Crest. It is a beauty! Restored, it has that ol' movie theater feel....like walking back into another era. Nostalgia!

Very nice architecture. Feels like a Romanesque cave! It's an active little spot with lovely cocktails and desserts. We'll be back!

This theater has it all . . . beauty, luxury and a great sound system. It shows vintage and newly released movies and features special programs and plays. A must see if you have the time.

This place is always surprising! The movies range from Film Noire to Footloose. And the concerts from Punk Rock to a wonderful tribute to Leonard Cohen. It's a great destination and one of our favorite restaurants in right downstairs!

My husband, friend and I saw Home Free here last weekend. The concert itself was wonderful, but I was also impressed with the theater itself. Brought back memories of the beautiful old movie palaces of the past. Not a bad seat in the house. Hope to return!

I love Jim Brickman's music and was really looking forward to seeing him again at this classy theatre located in the downtown area of Sacramento but the promoters really ruined my experience. First of all, the sound people severely dropped the ball on Jim's opening Christmas show. So so sound, special guests who were touring with him could not be... More

It's so nice to see a movie (or other event) in an authentic movie palace from the Golden Era of Hollywood movie making that has been completely refurbished so it looks like it did when first built! It's sooooo much better than going to a Mall Multiplex.

I have seen several musicians perform at the Crest. First the acoustics are fantastic. Second, there is not a bad seat in the house. Because it is a smaller venue, it has an intimate feeling, which I enjoy. The downside is the seats are too close together both on the sides and in the front. Not sure if the seat... More
