There's something really alluring about this place, with the beautiful, vibrant, lively foliage that coexists amongst the dead. Even weirder when you think about it's location: across from Target! Parking...More

This cemetery is historical in a sense because many of the famous people in history were buried here. There is even a guard that watches the place. The land is considered to be the highest point in the city and it was used for evacuation...More

This is a very large, historic cemetery. Beautiful grounds with lots of flowering plants. At the entrance pick up a map for a self guided tour.

Not only are there so many founders of the Sacramento Region buried here - the "old" roses that grow throughout the cemetery are a treat to behold
