The Convention Center is easy to navigate, has plenty of restrooms, and a large outdoor patio to eat lunch on if you brought your own. The food venue inside for my conference was below par and expensive. There is a Starbuck's on one side, the line gets very long. I would recommend making a reservation somewhere near for your meal,... More

Huge venue, lots of space with some close by conveniences. The down side is the parking. Parking sucks unless you use hotel parking or valet. There is a small Starbucks in the lobby, but its always slammed it there is an event. The food provided was okay, but I ended up eating elsewhere immediately afterwards.

The touring company of Book of Mormon was our last visit. The facility was relatively clean however the amount of food and drinks allowed into the theatre is ridiculous! The floor beneath our seats was sticky from some drink that was spilt earlier so we kept our handbags on our laps. The lack of moving air also made it very... More

Came here for an art show. Parking was relatively inexpensive if you park one block down from the convention hall and not at the hyatt. I recommend looking for street parking if it is a sunday or a holiday. There a good selection of food nearby and in walking distance. I like the lobby area in the Hyatt very spacious... More

Every Labor day my daughter and I are here dancing our hearts out with some of the best people in Sacramento! They are of Greek decent. They have photos from many cities and islands. When you walk in the front door...you hear the music and smell the aromas of the wonderful food. I have traveled to Greece. And this is... More

The Sacramento Community Center is a clean well organized facility. It is easily accessible by RT or private automobile. The Center has a number of excellent restaurants in the neighborhood.

I attended the Scrapbook and Papercraft Expo and enjoyed it. I think the food choices could be improved.

I have been to the convention enter on multiple occasions; but, this last event I was an exhibitor. The staff was exceptionally helpful and courteous. I was amazed at how friendly the servers are. The food was always delicious. At the reception, they had mini Reuben's, a taco bar, a mashed potato bar (awesome), and assorted cheeses. Lunch was incredible... More

Attended a large national conference here and found the facility very easy to navigate and the facilities served very well. Some similar centers have poor sound systems in their meeting rooms, but the systems here worked well and the acoustics were generally good.

This Convention Center is old and lacks some of the luster, amenities and size of centers for a city of this size. Parking can be a challenge with a few smaller parking garages nearby. Two major Hotels are less than a block away. it is a short walk to the Capitol and the Nightlife in the general area is plentiful.
