This is a very large park with a nice 'lake' where you can feed the ducks. There's plenty of places to have picnic lunch before heading over to the zoo around the corner. Worth the visit.

Took my grandkids for some wholesome entertainment this weekend. Went for the pony rides and Funderland kiddie rides in Land Park. The pony rides are great. Inexpensive and well managed. The Funderland visit also provided excellent entertainment for my three year old granddaughter.

Am I allowed to take my pet ducks and my pet geese there and release them there? Beacuse I rather them be free with animals of there kind than sell them to someone who I wouldn't know if they want them for food or if they will be treated right .

The City of Sacramento website is your Go To for reservations under the Parks & Recreation bit. Have a fun summer Diana! It's a wonderful park. Don't forget to take crumbs for the ducks. :-)
