I have visited this zoo many times over the last 20 years and it's just charming. Great for children and adults alike, something for everyone. Helpful staff, animal enclosures are big enough to see the animals but not too small. You can hurry through in...More

We had a wonderful time strolling through this small, but terrific zoo accompanied by the jaguar's vocalizations. Despite the cold, most of the animals were out and active. First, we stopped by the Discovery Center where the kids were delighted to touch a hedgehog and...More

I think this zoo is just the right size to take little ones to. Just as they get tired you have seen the whole zoo. The animals seem well taken care of and there is a good variety.

We always have a great time at the zoo. Once we make our way around and see the wonderful selection of animals, we attend a show and have a wonderful lunch as well as other snacks. Good location and not overly crowded.

If you haven't been to the Sacramento Zoo you need to check it out anew. From the baby Snow Leopard to all the wonderful primates and of course the original tall boys it's a great family outing. And don't miss the delightful gift store!

Two hours. The food is actually good if you want to stay a little longer. Adding the little train ride and the Merry go round and the giraffe feeding will take more time
