my wife and I mainly went here to try their Cabernet Sauvignon which has great reviews and we were not disappointed at all, great service and they have their fee with a bottle purchase and we got to keep the glass so we ended up...More
This is the second year in a row we went to Caymus. My wine tasting buddy had been there before, but I'm not sure how recently or how many times. Make a reservation to ensure you get somewhere to sit. For every $50 worth of...More
Would have expected more from Caymus. The tasting area is a beautiful location, but the wines are very fruit forward and not very subtle. Perhaps this is the American taste today, but there are higher quality wines in the area, especially considering the price.
We had never been to Caymus prior to this visit to Napa. I made reservations a week before to insure the timing worked with our other tastings and schedule. I highly reccomend making a reservation ahead of time. We arrived to abeautifully landscaped picturesque setting...More
A very cozy place, with walls and the outside surrounded by trees and fountains, our tasting was carried out in the patio, under the vegetation, where a very attentive young woman was introducing us in each wine and explaining its elaboration, without a doubt the...More

Caymus was one of our wineries we were really looking forward to. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a very disappointing experience. Our hostess seemed uninterested and in between each tasting she would walk away and leave us waiting for her return for at least...More
Shameful, the highlight of our Caymus tasting was the complimentary Fiji water. We checked in, waited for several minutes before we were greeted, and waited 20 minutes between pours of mediocre wine. Bathrooms were under construction, and backup trailers were overflowing with waste. Caymus should...More
If you know Caymus, you know it's a must-do. If you don't, then you need to be introduced to it. Beautiful place, reservations are required. Their Cab is just ridiculously amazing. They don't ship to NJ, but we shipped some of their Zinfandel to NYC....More
