You must have a reservation first of all. Call weeks if not months ahead. There are only ten people in a private room for the tasting. It's down to earth, not pretentious, comfortable, romantic, educational, delicious! I highly recommend going. It's $25 a person for...More

Shameful, the highlight of our Caymus tasting was the complimentary Fiji water. We checked in, waited for several minutes before we were greeted, and waited 20 minutes between pours of mediocre wine. Bathrooms were under construction, and backup trailers were overflowing with waste. Caymus should...More

I do love this wine which is why we visited the winery. Terrible experience. Staff was arguing the older man who gave us our tasting stood by our table so we couldn’t chat about the wine. Rushed in and rushed out. They lost a customer...More

Caymus wines are expensive and thus special. I had the great privilege to drink the 2016 Cabernet a few months ago and was totally blown away. When I decided to travel out to Napa, the first place on my list was Caymus. It's been many...More

Caymus revised their tasting approach a few years ago and now guests sit outside in beautiful greenery and are served their fantastic wines. I especially love the Zinfandel, which is only available at the winery. Classic California Cab, of course, but now a wider variety...More
