This family owned winery produces 5 cabernets, all sourced from small, limited production vineyards. I am especially fond of their Howell mountain bottle from the Buckeye vineyard, where the fruit grows at about 1800 feet. We arrived without an appointment, on a Sunday afternoon. Claire,...More

A small vineyard but worth a visit if you enjoy Cabernet. They produce high quality Cabernets from various areas of Napa. A knowledgeable staff willing to answer questions about the wines and area. The wines are fantastic and priced reasonably.

Tried calling twice before heading over to Pina and it went straight to voicemail, with a note saying the mailbox was full - no chance of speaking to someone. We went there, seeing a sign on the Silverado trail which read 'new release' and had...More

I had asked a wine consultant which winery would he visit if he only have one to choose for the wine; he suggested Pina. We had driven by it numerous times but the appearance never compelled us to visit. The Pina tasting room is really...More

Beautiful red wines from a family operated winery. Simple tasting room with no bells and whistles like you would expect from other wineries of Silverado trail. Trust me, the reds are outstanding.

No glitz, no lawn, or bloated expression of wealth. Just a simple barrel room with one stunning wine after the other. Simply presented so you can make your own decision with out pressure, or distracted by fluff. Always one of my fav stops. Can get...More
