HALL Rutherford offers guests a truly world-class winery experience to...

HALL Rutherford offers guests a truly world-class winery experience to include a tasting of HALL’s most regaled wines along with an intimate tour through the property and caves. The winery’s 14,000 square feet of caves were designed and built by hand by Friedrich Gruber of Gutenstein Austria. The caves are finished with handmade Austrian brick recovered from sites in and around Vienna and showcases select works from the Halls’ art collection. Deep inside the caves resides a dazzling reception area for private tastings and entertaining. The room’s spectacular chandelier, designed by Donald Lipski and Jonquil LeMaster, is dressed in hundreds of Swarovski crystals.

This was one of our best stops on the trip. The cave by itself is a must see. The tasting room is fabulous. Then you get to the wines. They were very good. Admittedly I had never tried Hall before, but was very impressed by the Cabernet. This stop is a must.

On our last visit, we visited both Hall St.Helena and Rutherford.........the tasting experience at Hall Rutherford is truly a VIP experience. We were able to take advantage of the tour before they began charging members for the experience, but it was o impressive, I would gladly pay.

The building and the tour were fine. We tasted four of the wines. They weren't to our taste for the price point but it is a beautiful place to visit.

Awesome architecture and artwork. Incredible facilities and gardens. Be sure to include this winery to your list of places to visit! Very different but awesome. Great wine at a good price.

From start to finish the most unbelievable tour/tastings! The scenery, the art, the views, THE WINE!! Absolutely phenomenal and the chandelier room is breathtaking , but the real stars are the outstanding Cabernets and the mouth full of fruit forward Pinot Noir. Rob was fantastic...informative yet relaxed and entertaining. If you are lucky enough to visit Napa, Put this at... More

After joining Hall wines wine club, we visited this location in Rutherford. What an amazing experience. No dollar spared to create this cave experience. The vats where designed for the space and the cave hallway was all imported. You enter in and travel down the hallway into the main room with an amazing chandelier. Make the appointment and spend the... More

Amazing wine, amazing location, amazing tour. Another in the "not cheap" category but due to the limited nature of the tour (they only take about 10 people per day, give or take) and the incredible wine, it is worth the money. The famous tree in the pictures that hangs upside down is what we modeled a tree after at our... More

I am a club member and was excited about the visit. It was a beautiful location, although not as breathtaking as OVID. It ended there. The tasting fee was $100 person-one of the highest in the valley, but it gets much worse. As a club member I had bought $3,000 worth of wine from Hall in the last 2 years(... More
