Wine tasting tour

Enjoyed our experience Do not enjoy reds, so hostess offered wider selection of whites. Much appreciated.

This was my favorite winery in Napa. The wine combined with the chocolates was amazing. The man who served our wine was so informative.

The wine tasting experience at Rutherford Hill Vineyard is very good. Our guide Dean was very knowledgeable and the wines selected for us to taste provided a diverse range of their product both from the varietal and price perspective. It is a tasting suitable for both beginners and experienced wine tasters.

We had a picnic with friends at Rutherford Hill and the view (despite the haze from fires) and grounds were lovely. The wine was very good and we ended up doing a tour of the caves where they hold the wines. The tour was brief and very informative. The tasting room was rustic, sophisticated, and crowded but everyone working was... More

My rating is based solely on the wine. The grounds and view are SPECTACULAR. Was not impressed with the wine and the lady helping us was very cold and not friendly. Did not feel very welcome and the wine was equally disappointing.

This review is provided as constructive criticism which will hopefully encourage proper customer service at Rutherford Hills Winery. My wife and I along with two other couples recently visited Rutherford Hills Winery in Napa, CA. We purchased the mandatory three bottles of wine required for our picnic. The main picnic area was closed, so we chose the outside area with... More

Our first time in Napa we toured Rutherford Hills Winery, fell in love with it and joined the wine club. The grounds are beautiful, the tour through the caves was interesting and the wine was fabulous. This trip to Napa, we returned as long time club members and treated like royalty. Even though we didn't have a reservation, they fit... More

Found this out of the way winery. Beautiful views, good wine, and friendly staff. Caves are nice and cool. One of the oldest winery's around.

Wine is okay, I suppose it helps that they willing give you LOTS of it. While on the tour the wine is flowing as you walk through the immense wine cave. Ground were pretty leading into the cave. Tour guide Jason was fairly knowledgeable.

Pay 20$, taste 5 wines with no explanation and you're done. If we wanted to just drink alcohol we would go to a bar. We didn't take the tour though, maybe it would have been more interesting. For us it was a waste of time.
