nice little pretty building and tasting room. their wines are absolutely incredible, tried several varieties of Cabernets and they were all good loved the Mt. Veeder and the Calistoga. we like their wine so much we joined the Cuvee Club.
We were staying across the street at Rancho Caymus Inn and Elizabeth Spencer was one of their wine partners, so we decided to stop in when we had some spare time. We went in without a reservation, but they fit us in to a table...More

I'm sorry to hear you had a disappointing experience in our tasting room. If you would like to speak with our tasting room Manager about your experience, we would certainly welcome the opportunity to learn and improve. You can reach Harold at 707.963.6067.
Lovely tour of the wines they produce for about 45 minutes. Interesting conversation and great breadsticks. The starting white was delicious and the two comparison wines at the end were a delight to see the difference in cab sav from different terroirs.

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to give your feedback! I hope you enjoyed the rest of your experience in Napa Valley.
We tried this Winery on a hunch. It is in a very cute little building just off Highway 29 across the road from Rutherford Grill. It has a small indoor Tasting Room, but a large, lovey garden tasting area, half filled with umbrella tables, and...More
We came to Elizabeth Spencer based on some recommendations we received. My wife and I shared a tasting and it was extremely impressive. They even poured us a little extra because it was our honeymoon. I thought the quality of the wines (especially the Chardonnays)...More
Based on the pictures, sitting outside would have maybe been a better experience. There's a reason there are no interior pictures posted... bc it was a bore. We came in what seemed to be the back door maybe? The tasting room was small, and boring...More

Thank you for the valuable feedback. We sincerely appreciate it. The Studio, (where you tasted) is indeed not our normal tasting location. Our standard tasting location is The Courtyard, right outside of the brick tasting room. During the winter months, The Studio give us the...More
We got lucky here and got a tasting without an appointment. They were quite busy on a rainy Saturday. We were already buying wine so that helped I guess. Anyways, once we sat down we were treated to a great tasting by Nick. He took...More

Thank you very much for visiting us on your trip to the Napa Valley. I'm sorry you caught us on a rainy day, but we're thrilled that you enjoyed your time with us. Enjoy the wine!!
Nice little tasting room with courtyard seating. The price is fair and the wine is good. The Reserve Chardonnay is expensive but incredible. The tasting room is open later than most so we usually make this our last stop before dinner.

I am not sure if there are any that have it as a regular stop, but I'm sure there are tour companies (the smaller ones) that might allow you to provide input into the stops that you make. I will say that the tasting room for Elizabeth Spencer is not a very large room, so they might have issues accommodating a large group (like 10+), and given its location, it might be harder to get more than small bus anywhere close. One idea is to call Elizabeth Spencer and ask them if they know of tour companies that stop there. If they know of any, I'm sure they'll be happy to tell you. Hope you enjoy your visit!
