This highly-recommended, easy to moderate (your pick of trails), hike will only set you back an hour or so, less if you're in tip-top shape and don't enjoy the views or read the historic markers and wildlife along the way. Round trip is approx 3 miles, depending on the route you take. At the top, you'll enjoy beautiful views, great... More

Great place for a pleasant walk/hike. Not very difficult and it is paved. They have some dirt trails that reach a paved road, but be careful of snakes as I have seen some there. Never seen a venomous one, but have heard of people seeing rattlers there. Just careful where you park. I have heard of many break ins, but... More

For beginners or experts, this mountain has an easy side and a steep side. Ask any person on the path which way and they can help you. Try up the easy side first and down the steep side. Then switch the next time if it was too easy. The view is the best in Riverside! From half way up you... More

Mt. Rubidoux is probably one of the most visited spots by locals in Riverside. A paved trail that splits about a third of the way up. One way is steeper and short, while the other is longer and easier to walk. The great thing about this trail is that some can walk and others who are more fit will run,... More

Went here for an evening hike with a group of kids. Although it was past 8 the path was quite visable. There were quiet a few people out this evening so it was safe even at night.

Pretty easy walk around and up the hill. There is a moderate incline. It's pretty at night. Dog friendly.

If you are running or walking and enjoying the company of someone, this is a place to go. Great views. I wouldn't drive 100 miles to get here but if you are in the area it's great.

This is a great place to exercise and walk up Mt. Rubidoux. All you need is to walk this park 2 - 3 times a week to stay in great shape. I love going there for early morning walks. Weekends is a busy time. I prefer weekday walks.

Not really a hike since the main paths are paved, but a moderate-effort walk. Pretty views from the top. Water available at the trailhead. Easy, free parking in the park at the bottom of the neighborhood. Go early in the day - there's no shade on the trail.
