Small, though interesting collection. Check the website for specifics. Recommended when you have a window of 60-90 minutes.

Interesting collection of cameras - I think that's a permanent display. The temporary displays were a mixed bag. Admission is cheap enough that you really can't go wrong spending an hour or two wandering around the exhibits.

I would have been highly annoyed if I had had to pay to see this "museum." The clerk said they had three stories of exhibits. Not true. The third floor was undergoing construction and was closed. The basement had a small room with maybe a dozen small pictures on the wall. The main floor displayed a collection of old cameras.... More

This sis a hidden gem of a museum with lots of photography related treats to find and explore. Not for the really young but the teens will like this too.

We spent quite awhile looking at some great old photos from Riverside's olden days. Admission by donation. The lower part of the museum also had some fun collections of "stuff", some nice Native artifacts from a local tribe, etc. There is an exhibit with live animals that is open limited hours and a pleasant little gift shop. Worth stopping in... More

Nice exhibit of old photographic stuff. It is a little small but I still find myself spending plenty time there.

This is a very nice place to visit and to see in a short period of time. There is a nice permanent collection and a wonderful collection of cameras which show the development of cameras from their start to the current digital models, but what I like most are the temporary collections which are changed often and reflect a wide... I haven't been here for years but glad I took the time to take a look. There are three floors and a basement and each has a different exhibit. The main floor has their rotating collection along with historic cameras. The mid level above is a small gallery. To me the show on display was contrived, an "emperors new cloths".... More

This museum is small. Considering that one of the four floors was empty and another was tiny it was still worth a visit. I enjoyed the Manzanar exhibit. I have been to Manzanar and was aware of the history. The images displayed gave a glimpse of the everyday life and family strife caused by the relocation. I truly enjoyed the... More

Lots of unique antique cameras as well as interesting rotating photography exhibits. Well worth an hour or two. On the mall in downtown Riverside and close to the Mission Inn.
