The museum has the bare minimum for a museum. The exhibits that were there were well done but it seemed like it lacked more interactive exhibits for kids.

Adorable Museum with the former Post Office of Riverside. The staff there is very nice and informative.

This was a perfect Sunday family outing. Even though this is a smaller museum, it has so much to see. The display cases are presented with facts and detail. Most of the exhibit was native American Indian baskets and wares. We discovered a second floor which held a wonderful photography exhibit of Riverside in the early days. This was so... More

This museum is located in Riverside's Mission Inn District. The three main exhibits are Natural History, Anthropology, and History. There are several ancients relics and interesting exhibits on display.

My hubby and I where walking around down town Riverside, killing time, and we came across this little place. There was a lot to see/read inside, both my hubby and I enjoyed our time. They had special activities to help the exhibits more child friendly, and help hold their interest. If you have a few minuets or couple hours, you... More

Not very big and you can go through in a couple of hours. Very interesting artifacts from the riverside area. The art museum and mission in are on the same block so it is very easy to include it on your visit.

Interesting but not very big. It's hot alot of history items and artifacts. Just too small in my opiniom. It's free though and is good history

Always an interesting experience by visiting a museum. A learning experience each time and seeing and appreciating items.

Although you can see both floors in under two hours, the museum is a handsome "mission revival" building and nice example of adaptive reuse (the former post office). You'll learn both the human and natural history of Riverside. The Native American artifacts are especially interesting.

Usually cupcakes are a bit dry, but these are moist and very tasty. What a wonderful selection as well. With purchases, you also can take a fork, plate and napkin, this way you have all the tools for a perfect snack. The later you visit in the day, the slimmer the selection. Enjoy, it is only a cupcake!!
