On 15 May 2020, Riverside County, California started a process to rescinded it Corona Virus "Lock Down Order" which has been in place for 8 weeks. Drive in Theatre were allowed to open. Rubidoux and the Van Buren Drive In theatre reopened. After being locked up for 8 weeks, took the wife and my 2 year old great granddaughter out for a night at the drive in movies. Ventured over to the Van Buren Drive In Riverside, California. Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $ 1.00 for kids 5-9. The Drive in has 3 screens and shows two films per screen. Snack bar and restrooms are available. Masks are required to be worn while visiting the restrooms or the concession stand. Viewed "Trolls World Tour" and Valley Girl". Show started at 2015 for the first film and 2200 for the second feature. Not great films. But after sitting home for 8 weeks anything different is exciting. Granddaughter and wife enjoyed the outing. Be sure to take snacks and drinks with you if you want to avoid the line at the concession stand. A fun evening with the family. Will most likely return in the future.

2 movies for the price of 1 and OUTDOORS!!! Bring your ice chest bring you drinks and snacks and watch newly released movies on the back of your truck or SUV. Don't have a truck or SUV, come in your car and bring lawn chairs and enjoy the movie.
