Great park all around, but slightly smaller than other state parks. We went in August and our group encountered almost zero mosquitoes. We stayed at the group site which is supposed to hold 50 people, but 30 is more realistic. The river was very accessible...More

Different parts of the park have different features, so I recommend scoping it out before deciding where to set up. Good fishing, camping, swimming. I've even been there when a couple sets up to loan your kids life jackets!! BEWARE OF HIGHER WATER LEVELS in...More

We stopped overnight here after visiting the wineries in Lodi CA. It is considered a very pleasant place to visit in the Summer-one of the only riparian areas remaining in the Central Valley- with river fishing and swimming and many reputedly beautiful trails (no hookups...More

Softest trails I've ever run on - beautiful wildlife path that follows the meander of the Stanislas River. Pretty canopy of trees. Fun place to kayak (in the right season). Nice 'car' camping too, with showers and flush toilets.

Great camp grounds with decent facilities which are mostly clean. Access the river give you a place to relax and play. Noisy at night.
