Both times we've stopped has been in between plans so we did not stay long however I could see myself just sitting here for hours taking in the view, especially on a sunny day. The summertime when sunny is better to really see the various colors in the water but a spectacular view no matter what. Near the miradouro is a glider ramp that is a little old. If you're very careful, you can climb down and get some cool photos but lose your grip and fall and you're falling down a cliff-side so be very careful.

The Estrada de Escarpa (N379-1) is one of the most scenic roads in the area. This spot on the road provides stunning views over the rolling hills, the beaches and the sea.
