It has a Starbucks and movie theatres plus it's nicer to walk through with more places to sit. Will be perfect once winter arrives.

This is a very relaxing complex where every family member can stroll and relax. Centered in Rancho Mirage this is a great meeting place to start out for lunch/dinner and a movie.

This is a lovely mall, designed to look as if there was a river flowing through it. Plentiful free parking, safe area. I wish there was more shopping, many of the stores have closed and its sad to see so many empty shops. There is a Forever 21, nail salon, Bath and Body store, Diane's and a few others. But... More

Because the new owners raised the rent, most of the shops have closed. There are a few good places to eat and the movie house is there but not much else. Sad since it's such a beautiful center.

The water smelled heavily of chlorine, there were 10 shops and 12 restaurants, but once we finished eating at 920pm, (see cheescske factory, dont eat there, see my review.)everything had closed. It's like an inside out mall, walk around outside to the store/ restaurant you want. Seems odd for a desert community. Big circle, no short cuts to anything and... More

The River shopping center is names after a water feature along highway 111 but features a good walking and exploring experience. There are many shops (a few vacancies due to the economy) any many restaurants or bars to visit if you need to break from walking or need or want a refreshment. A key attraction is the movie theater which... More

Only visited the movie theater to beat the heat. Caught the matinee and the kids loved it. Boosters are available for smaller children. Large popcorn came with free refill but drinks did not. The shopping area was empty in the heat but previous visits in the evenings have been entertaining.

We didn't realize this mall was there until the day that we checked out, but quite a few nice little restaurants there and really pretty at night.
