Stayed at the Westin MH Resort for a 2 days/Midweek and other than the scorching heat outside our experience was great! I booked a deal on Hotwire and got this hotel. I wasn't thrilled about it at first because I really wanted to stay at the OMNI but at the end it worked out great. The resort is huge and... More

We are so lucky to live in Rancho Mirage. To play the course as a resident You must show ID at the Weston Mission Hills Resort main club house (Pete Dye course at the Resort) Then you pay an annual membership of $85. This then allows you to pay only $65.00 for each round. When you sign up you get... More

Great round of golf here for all levels of players. Gary Player designed and the management maintains a beautifully conditioned course. Challenging layout for all handicaps. Bravo.

Good course, little brother to the Dye course. Layout was good, just not in the same pristine condition. We had a blast and had course to ourselves for an afternoon round.

This course is excellent and very favorable for women using the forward tee. There are mountain views from every hole. The water features on the course are not much in play.

I played the Pete Dye course twice before finally playing the Gary Player and I was pleasantly surprised. It's a very good course, friendly off the tee but demanding around the greens with bunkering, hills and hazards. Greens were very good and fast. The practice facilities are better than the Pete dye course with a practice bunker, chipping area, putting... More

In early 2016, I suspect that the courses are hurting for business because the rates seem reasonable. This course is challenging and perhaps some of the bunkers were not really in play and you wonder why they spent the money to put them there. They allowed a fivesome which slowed play down, but we played the front nine twice and... More

The Gary Player course is a bit further down the road than the Dye course and in a bit better condition. Maybe due to the fact that the Player course is closer to the hotel and gets more golfers. An early tee time will enable you to get done in about 4 hrs.

Played this course Sunday and Tuesday in great conditions. Greens on Sunday were very slow and bumpy but by Tuesday they had been rolled and that was a big improvement. The course itself was not as lush as one would expect after overseeding . Warmer weather may have impacted rye growth.

The landscaping is lush and the course is surrounded by nice looking homes. But the golf just isn't that interesting, this a resort course and is more expensive than it should be. The Westins Dye Course is almost worth the money, the Player not so much.
