My family and I were in the Sacramento area for a little getaway, where we discovered Rancho Cordova's Red Door Escape Room. We loved our experience. We planned for only one escape room, but stayed for two escape room experiences. Most of the time it is hard to get everyone in the family to enthusiastically agree to do an activity, but Red Door Escape Room made it an easy sell. The first experience we did was the "Once Upon a Time"--since we had younger children. It was a FULLY immersive Fairly Land type of experience, and the every one had the chance to bring their own contributions to escape. The second experience we did was the "The Gift", it did not disappoint. Again, it was fully immersive and the problems/puzzles were appropriate for everyone in our group. The rooms were great, but our game master, Eric, made it a magical and unforgettable experience for all of us. He transitioned us well from "Rancho Cordova" to our escape room. Eric was patient and engaged our kids very well. Because of this, our kids were fully immersed in the escape room's story. (in fact once we got home they created their own escape room) Great place to go. (More fun was had than Disneyland.) Will certainly be doing the other escape rooms at the Rancho location in the near future and also will be visiting other the Bay Area Red Door before long.

We had a group of 10 ages 5 - 67. We split up into two fairly even groups and did the rooms called The Gift. Our guide was great explaining everything to us and answering all of our questions. Each room had identical clues and puzzles so we got to race each other. Only 3 people in our whole group have ever done an escape room so it was new to most of us. It was a little too advanced for the 5 year olds but they made great cheer leaders. They were able to help with a jigsaw puzzle. Overall we all had a great time!

I have played a bunch of escape rooms and even work at one but the Jail Break room at this place was one of the best I've ever done! It had a lot of fun puzzles and was pretty difficult because most of my group had never done escape rooms before. Luckily our gamemaster gave us a little extra time and even talked us through the last part just so we could feel like we did it! I don't visit Sacramento often but the next time I do I'm going to come back here!

We went to the Red Door Escape Room in Rancho Cordova with our friends. We tried the room called The Gift. For an hour we tracked down clues and made some progress but unfortunately did not make it to the end. It was well thought out and the staff were great. We plan to go back again

We had so much fun playing the Once Upon A Time room with our adult children and grandkids. There were challenges that met all age levels -- fun was had by all! I would have to say the staff here including Meg, Sandy, David, Alex, Malcom, and especially Kitty were all so smiley with good energy. It made our adventure even more pleasant.
