A very pleasant surprise for this a bit out of the way winery. Just off the 78 and up a dirt road will bring you to the tasting room. Due to COVID, you need to make a reservation. A wide range of wines to try, via testing of 6 1oz for $14 or you can purchase a bottle. You can bring in your own food or order a box lunch a day in advance. Pretty grounds for a short stroll among the vineyard or olive trees.
Worth the trip for a quiet weekend afternoon, the staff is helpful to make selections.

Two things in life my wife and I enjoy... a wonderful glass of wine and live music! You put the two together and that's a great way to spend an afternoon! We were just out for a drive one warm Saturday afternoon and fell across this winery. What a treat! They had both of our favorite things going on! The wines were amazing! The funny thing about San Diego is that there are a number of wineries that just haven't got the touch when making wine! This place knows what they're doing! Plus a new beautiful tasting room and the grounds are beautiful! A great way to spend the afternoon if you're out and about with a little time on your hands! Enjoy!

Milagro has a good size tasting room and an outside patio as well as access to part of the grounds with more tables and places to sit away from the main area. They have a small selection of crackers, cheeses and salami for purchase or you can bring your own lunch or snacks with you. It does get pretty busy at times - they could use more help or come up with a better system for helping people more efficiently. Overall, one of the nicer wineries with a mix of both red and white wines so there should be something everyone can enjoy. Well worth the drive.

We were a slightly impressed with what they built in such a scruffy area and the people seemed friendly enough - until you bought something that is (and they even had the nerve to ask for a gratuity when buying).
The kicker was the next day we found that the price for a bottle of their cabernet sauvignon was $7 cheaper at Costco.

I visited this winery over the weekend along with two others in the Ramona valley. Milagro Farm Winery was a breath of fresh air, similar to many winery's I've visited across the country. The staff was friendly and very helpful with questions about the various wines. There is a small cost for the tasting, but you get to try six various wines. The property is well maintained and comfortable. This is a must visit on your wine tour in the Ramona area.

Visited San Diego County's Milagro Farm Vinyards & Winery for their annual release party. We tasted a variety of excellent white and red wines, but the ones that I brought home with me were the 2010 Estate Grown Chardonnay, the 2008 Estate Grown Cabernet Sauvignon, and the 2010 Aleatico. I was really impressed with the Burgundian-style (non-oaked) chardonnay that Jim Hart, the winemaker, is developing from his young vineyards. It was clean, crisp, and refreshing and would pair extremely well with white fish, shellfish, pork loin, or a creamy epoisses or brie. The cabernet sauvignon was a full-bodied, well structured red with balanced aromas and soft tannins that is definitely drinkable now or a candidate for modest cellaring for a year or two. Milagro's port-style Aleatico is perfect for just sipping at the end of a delicious meal or savoring with your favorite dessert, especially flan, tiramisu, or dark chocolate.

We went for a fundraiser which paired fine cuisine with wines to complement one to the other and found that the wines stand on their own, both whites and reds. Be sure to try the port.

Don't get put off by the unpaved road, this is well worth a visit. The tasting room was a bit spartan, but very comfortable; I could've hung out there for hours. Steve and Justine behind the bar were fantastic, very knowlegable and friendly. The surroundings were very nice, in a valley east of Ramona, California with very nice views of the countryside from the outdoor seating areas.

Milagro Winery is a great place to taste their wines on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon! You can sit outside, take a walk through the vineyard area, or sit inside. Live musicians are usually performing on weekends

Featuring a line up of reds in touch with the terroir, this place is a gem. The 2013 Littlepage Bordeaux Blend (left bank style) is quite good and should get better with some time in the cellar. The tasting room is comfortable, well laid out and features a tasting bar, comfortable seating, live entertainment, and board games. Gabby worked with us on our tasting and she’s pleasant and knowledgeable. Beautiful property.
