Ramona Ranch Vineyard & Winery is located in San Diego county and strives to produce balanced wines that will stand the test of time, that are enjoyable now and become more intense as the years go by. We have been focused on sustainability since we first moved to Ramona in 2004. Our wines are produced from Estate and local Ramona vineyards that we have personally selected for the quality fruit due to the meticulous attention of each grower. You can taste the care and commitment to the land in every glass of our award winning wines, including the Double-Gold, Best of Class Estate Tannat. Micole Moore, together with his wife, Teri Kerns, owns Ramona Ranch Winery, where he is the primary winemaker, and COO. We use traditional oak barrels for all of our red wines, and are experimenting with aging white wines in oak barrels as well. Thank your for supporting Ramona wineries.

Great patio area for wine tasting with beautiful views of the Ramona Valley and their estate vineyard. Also, there's not a fixed tasting flight so you can try almost any wine on the menu and pay per taste, which I liked. Their Sangiovese is honestly one of the best I have had in the area.

I was here on a Sunday afternoon. Ashley was very kind and welcoming, she also was my sommelier, extremely knowledgeable and professional.
I got the tasting of the 6 wines they offer and let me tell you that I was shocked by the quality of their wines. They could easily be charging 3 times more, but their prices are very accessible.
I set on the patio to admire the views of the beautiful venue and the valley down below and the owner stopped by my table to introduce herself and asked me if I needed anything, that was a really nice touch if Tory, I have been to many wineries in different countries but never seen this before, totally made my day.
We talked a little bit about their organic wine and their methods and also about their star wine witch is also my favorite, the "Aglianico", an italian grape that is rare to find and they make an extraordinary job with it. One of my favorite wines in California.

The best wine, and San Diego's 1st and only sustainable winery...which means you can feel even better about drinking this already delicious wine and have that extra glass ;) pack a picnic, catch some live music, and get to know the fun and friendly owners and staff.

We live in Encinitas and have heard about the Ramona Wine Appellation but had never explored this area ourselves. We went to several wineries but Ramona Ranch has the best wines we tried of the day.
Everyone in the Ramona Wine Appellation that we meet including the patrons were extremely friendly and kind. We had a great time.

We had 3 tastings but unfortunately we did not like any of them, carried on to other wine yards in the area with lovely views and delicious wines

I really loved Ramona Ranch Vineyard. It's a small, family and pet friendly winery where you can sit back and enjoy a great glass of wine while you gaze out into the vineyard that surrounds you. Teri, Micole, and their staff are very friendly and they're always up for a bit of conversation. I would highly recommend Ramona Ranch Vineyard and Winery if you're in Ramona looking for a great glass (or bottle) of wine.

Ramona Ranch Vineyard and Winery offers unique blends as well as classic tastes to tantalize the most discerning of palates. Teri and Micole bring a sense of family pride to the tasting table and with good reason, especially if you enjoy wines from the Tuscan Region. They also offer opportunities to learn more about the art of making wine and the process of harvesting grapes when they are at their best. Bring your thirst. You will need it!

This winery is just lovely! Generally, I visit during the day and sit on the expansive patio to enjoy a glass of their most excellent wine. Last night was a party! It was the members' wine pick up and they offered a delightful food and wine pairing for members and guests. It was chilly but there were fireplaces and heat lamps. There was a young woman singing Christmas carols in the background and it really added to the atmosphere. As always, the customer service was perfect. There are many delicious wines to sample and you will surely find a favorite if you go.

I was taking some relatives up to Julian during a recent visit, and we noticed the sign for Ramona Ranch Winery--just north of Ramona. We decided to stop in and we were very happy we did. The wine was great and we had the opportunity to meet the wine maker--he was awesome! My favorite thing about the winery is the patio setting--beautiful panoramic view of the area, lots of covered seating, heaters if necessary. There are stairs down to an area with cute animals if interested. Just a charming, relaxing place overall. We will be back!
