I've done this hike several times, it's so beautiful. It's easy until you get to the incline but it's worth it once you get up there. Just take your time if you're a novice hiker and you'll be fine

I enjoyed fly fishing in Lake Ramona. It was wonderful sunny day with blue sky and water is very clear water. Fish aren’t big but beautiful!

This is a great way to introduce the kids to nature! Flat and shady path. Also, a bonus path near the waters edge for exploring frogs and such.

Blue Sky Reserve is a great place to take a walk with or without your dog. The road follows an ephemeral stream until it opens up into chaparral. You can hike 1.5 miles each way on the mostly flat valley dirt and gravel road or...More

Great parking and a beautiful trail through the gully shaded by the oaks is what to go for. There are connections to other trails that offer vigorous opportunities for all the hiking you could ever want.

I like this hike because its close and easy. It used to be much more scenic before our fires, but it's still nice to get outside. If you have kids, know there is a lot of poison oak along the sides of the trail in...More

If you want to go all the way up to lake Ramona, do it really early or on a cloudy day and bring lots of water. Maybe not worth the additional 2 miles! Rest of hike is just ok.

Blue sky itself is okay... it is a short, shaded, flat walk on a dirt road along a creek. The path is in good shape. The jewel is if you are adventurous enough to turn left at the end of the trail and hike up...More
