An easy trip out from Tallinn. We ummed and ahhed about visiting as there was no snow (and thus no sledding), but decided to visit. Mariin was responsive and met us at the train station. The love she has for the farm and her way of life was infectious and the malamutes and other huskies, and horses were beautiful. For space and nature starved Hong Kong residents, being around animals and nature was literally a breath of fresh air. There’s home grown tea and cake to enjoy and a snapshot of their life sledding and raising huskies, (and mum’s hobbies!). A thoroughly enjoyable time. I wish we could have had a bit more animal interaction but actually the weather was a bit grim.

This is a hard review to write as the setting, the dogs and the people are all lovely. Genuinely. But... It was nowhere near value for money and they charged a 12 and 15 year old the same as an adult, €40 each. We went during the summer so all of the other reviews that include a husky sled ride could not be done due to the lack of snow, however they still charge the same money. €40 per person. On arrival we were taken into a teepee for some reason, not clear why. Then off to meet the dogs which were great. Later we had a belt wrapped around our waists and a husky tied to a rope and we went for a walk with the dogs. No sled, no cart with wheels, we walked for about 1km. Again, this was pleasant and fun but not value for money. Then a cake and some water and left to look around the small farm. I'm not sure the horses are in good health due to the splaying of their hooves but I'm no expert. So we left with a bad taste in our mouths. If we could have sledded with the dogs then we all agreed we would have paid more, but as we literally just went for a short walk then they should not be charging as much as they do. They're was even one adult who didn't walk a dog and they were charged €40 too. Disappointed.

Last week we visit Hellerkanti with 10 colleagues during our trip in Estonia. It was really nice and we had a great time there with the dogs, cat, rabbit and horses. Everything was well organized and we were received full of enthusiasm which made us feel right at home. We could cuddle with the dogs and made a nice husky sleigh trip, which was unforgettable. The visit concluded with delicious coffee, tea and delicacies. When you visit Estonia, be sure to stop by!

We visited it during Christmas time. It was so beautiful there. My 2,5 and 1 y.o loved the dogs. Me too, of course, as huskies and Alaskan malamutes are my favorite ones. Would like to visit again in the summer time or probably even during the winter to take a sledding tour, too.
